Deepsight drops in Wellspring
Tarnation and CTP should be guaranteed deepsight drops after the fix, I can´t imagine this quest step was ever intended to take more than a week.
Nobody even wants to craft these weapons, they will be instantly dismantled when the quest step is done.
Mindlessly grinding the same activity over and over has become the most boring waste of time this game has to offer for me.

Edited by Raxsyn: 3/8/2022 1:02:30 AMI agree, this is a terrible mechanic. I have run wells today back to back for 6 hours and have gotten 4 regular Tarnations and none for attunment. So there is a RNG role for Tarnation and then another for Tarnation attunment, meaning that is a percent of a percent. Then you have to wait for the day the weapon you are looking for is in the rotation for the well, just adding to the fustration and time it takes to complete the quest. This needs to be change, the fustration from this mechanic just needs to go. This is just not fun.

I could care less about ever crafting any of this complete BS. Nothing stands out that is worth the grind.

8 RepliesProof that nothing actually changes with new expansions regardless how the fanboys praise it. Story was great for the few short hours we got on par with previous times but aside from that it's literally exactly like every other expansion. One or two new modes that at first are welcomed til you have to grind those same two 100x for garbage we don't even want and a painfully slow season tied to it.

Totally turned me off playing Destiny. Quickly reminded me new content but even more grind and what a pain RNG is in this game Bad luck protection has never worked just look at the Vex Mythoclast some up to 100 tuns to get it to drop. Then once you get it to drop you need another. I probably did 60 runs to get the 4 to drop to progress to the exotic glaive and then find out its no better than the Legendary version and not worth dropping the sub machine gun I got other patterns I need 5 of I haven't even dropped one yet I've had 22 sidearms lol Bungie as always two steps forward 3 steps backwards

I usually only get to play like 7 hours a week between family and work. At least add more drops instead of just 1. To get more legendary shards since the alloy is pricy. Edit: btw, if we try to craft raid weapons 99% of us will never finish. It takes up to 5 to be able to craft it. Either 1) you already have a roll by then you want or 2) you can’t craft it anyway because it also takes mats only from the raid. It’s like the Well, but on steroids. Since you’re gated if you only play 1 character.

The RNG on top of RNG is horrible. Only getting 5 drops from 30 activities is bad enough especially when 0 of those 5 drops are resonant.

Remember they are listening even though they instantly patched the Deepsight their 3 chests that we were farming but this will take them over a month to even look at.

I have been farming every day I get off work for these weapons to drop as Deepsight weapons... I've gotten maybe 1 deepsight version of each except the sniper- and all of them require multiples to unlock the frames for crafting. I've gotten maybe 4 drops that were weapons with no deepsight on them, and the rest are all just armor. The weapons outside of Wellspring I've also been not so lucky on for the same reason, almost all my drops when I DO get one, are normal versions. You want us to craft these weapons, but we can't craft them if deepsight versions aren't dropping in the first place. I have all the materials in the world thanks to other world drops being deepsight, I could craft so many weapons, if I had the frames for it.

Its funny how quick they fix the glitched shader which so many liked but take their damn time fixing the drop rate for the wellspring, just wanting people to suffer

The main problem is that you shouldn't get your players to grind 1 mode this many times for deepsight drops because overtime it gets boring and tedious and when they get it they never want to go back due to being burnout about it this goes for both wellspring and the new battlegrounds for deepsight and the resources cap makes it even worse 😒

36 RepliesThe whole wellspring activity grind requirement puts witch queen down several pegs. Anyone saying it’s the best expansion is full of -blam!-. The majority of my memories from all this WILL NOT be the story, the characters or even the raid it will be how many hundreds of hours I spent grinding for a deepsight drop from wellspring. I’m glad there’s not going to be a destiny 3

Agreed. Craftable weapons should only drop as a deep sight until the pattern is unlocked. Then they should mix it up with deep sight and non deep sight drops after.

you only need wellspring if 1 you want to completionist 2 craft and test the well spring weapon.3 the exotic glaives allready been tested they are rubish, as shown by their introduction video. so you do not need well spring can skip that if you want.
