The whole wellspring activity grind requirement puts witch queen down several pegs. Anyone saying it’s the best expansion is full of -blam!-. The majority of my memories from all this WILL NOT be the story, the characters or even the raid it will be how many hundreds of hours I spent grinding for a deepsight drop from wellspring. I’m glad there’s not going to be a destiny 3

Edited by IcyHotTodoroki40: 3/9/2022 12:09:32 AMwhat people think of an expansion is subjective, which means you have no place in saying someone's opinion is bullsh*t - no matter how right or wrong it is. It makes the accuser come off as whiny and pretentious. Now, sure, WQ did not go off without a hitch, and the grind is a PITA - but welcome to Destiny. It was way worse in D1 where you could wait on a planet for hours and not get a single public event, and where completing a quest could take weeks of grinding to complete it...and don't get me started on the Outbreak Prime "puzzle". D2 is legoland levels of casual by comparison

Are you pretending that you wouldn’t immediately buy and pour countless hours into a Destiny 3 if it was released?
-
This is true, a lot of people will remember this dlc for poor drop rate. The quest was fun nice that void has been improved.
-
There won’t be a D3 because D2 won’t end. Didn’t you read the twab about the game continuing after the Dark and Light saga?
-
I agree.. certainly is a you problem.. I like the wellspring activity.. defend anyways .. attack is boring! I was hoping attack was gonna be far more fast passed.. either way it's reset 2.. going into 3 calm your -blam!-.. they will drop.. that's the big problem with people in this community.. they want everything! And if there is a grind attached to it they don't want to do it.. but if there isn't then they -blam!- they have nothing to do... can't have it both ways cupcake! Your 15 dollars for the pass only goes so far lol

No one has an issue with grind. The problem is the grind is tied to specific activities, not the game in its entirety. Additionally, the grind is extremely over inflated for no reason other than Bungie has very little to offer and needs to spread its thin content over long periods of time.
-
I mean of that's what you want to think.. or it could be that they don't expect everyone to get everything.. Also don't expect that people will get everyone in the first few weeks
-
Oh, and several of those guns and resources are only obtainable from a select few activities, mainly the wellspring, which means playing a single game type ad nauseam - its piss poor design and planning.
Oh, and several of those guns and resources are only obtainable from a select few activities, mainly the wellspring, which means playing a single game type ad nauseam - its piss poor design and planning.
Since like the activity.. don't get the loot associated with it I get GFSF
-
First few weeks? There's how many guns that have to be unlocked? And require how many resources that are limited and hard to come by? And all those guns still need to be made in order to unlock perks? And the upgrade process is how time consuming? Sure, some people might be able to unlock all that crap in the first few weeks, whereas the rest of us don't have that kind of time or care to focus on such a tedious process.

I haven’t even been grinding wellspring. I knew it was only a matter of time until it got fixed. And when it does, I’ll start grinding then.
-
Thats a you problem, because bungie is fixing their drop rates on thursday
Thats a you problem, because bungie is fixing their drop rates on thursday
I will not believe it until I see it Actions speak louder than words.

I forgot that the bungie help twitter that was specifically made for patch announcements is lying, you are clueless
-
Bungie butt kisser 💋💋💋
-
Its just a fact
I forgot that the bungie help twitter that was specifically made for patch announcements is lying, you are clueless
No one but you said lying I will say it again just so you can understand I’ll believe it when I see it Too many promises without delivery Guardian name change in the winter, spring is 13 days away. Once again I’ll believe that when I see it

Grinding wellspring or not, there isn't much memorable going on right now. The campaign is good but other than that all the RNG elements were moved from one piece to another, and the grind elements were tacked on to some place different. Honestly the same bologna mess since Shadow Keep. I even hit refund on the purchase but dummy me canceled. I guess I'll get my $80 this year and bail.

They are fixing their drop rate on thursday

I gotta agree with Swagasaurus Reks here. This season lasts 90 days and we have all that time to get the exotic glaives before worrying about the next stuff. I probably ran around 40-50 wellsprings and got 2 DR wellsprings, one DR bow, and one DR sniper. Since they're boosting the drop rates on Thursday I figured I'm gonna wait til then. No sense in mindlessly grinding and burning out on it now, and it'll give me something to work on going forward.
-
99.99% of the player base IS NOT going to run 300 wellsprings in the entirety of its existence let alone to grind out a weapon. youre wrong on this one. The activity is very boring and dull. Lucky if i can run more than 3 in a row before i feel like im watching paint dry
-
youre wrong on this one
Did you miss the part where they're raising drop rates? I said it myself, as it sits now the activity isn't worth farming cuz you're not gonna make progress. When they raise the drop rate and/or add protection it'll be worth running.

Edited by Kouz_MC: 3/7/2022 6:26:36 PMYeah but campaign apart there’s nothing more than the glaives, or back to mindless hamster wheel of pinnacles, or broken pvp and terrible gambit 3.0.
-
Gambit is awful, I don't think anyone else is gonna argue that xD I gotta ask though, what other stuff would you have liked to see? A brand new raid just dropped and its phenomenal, along with a story mission built off of the raid that seems like it may progress week-to-week. We're not even two weeks into the expansion yet, more is definitely coming

I enjoyed the campaign a lot. It’s amazing. That said it was only 8 or so missions. Long ones but still fell a little short. The new destination is fantastic, light years away from Europa’s dog poop campaign and environment. I still feel like “what next?” The raid, I don’t know yet. I only think I got a taste with the preservation mission, which was beautiful. I heard it’s mostly mechanics and a lot of callouts. I am not very much a fan of this design trend. Personal tastes and prejudices. I’ll be able to have an opinion after I play it. I was referring to actual grind-able content. As simple as that. Past the campaign the only thing we can look forward to is farming the wellspring, which isn’t exciting, but redundant, poor rng, very cheap loots. Everything else is basically the same hamster wheel of powerful/pinnacles of the same ol same ol activities. I have ascendant shards I have no use for, I have forsaken cyphers I have no use for, enhancement cores I have no use for… so many “precious” resources that are totally pointless. Oh, and I still have textures everywhere😤 can’t see any player anywhere (I have over the top internet), which makes playing pvp a nightmare, and the game less enjoyable fosure. You say that we’re only week 2. I agree. But Destiny isn’t my life. I take some time to play the game, when new content is released and not everyday of the year. I feel like I saw the content for the year+this season. So there’ll be 3 more 6-player activities and a few exotics. Nothing really awe…
