Really wish they'd update us, should we be looking for a new game?

I've been playing project zomboid b41 at the moment and a "tank building game" Sprocket caught my eye and everyone is making the spiciest memeiest tank I've seen in a long while. I am also keeping an eye on PSO2 that had a global release for a while now, supposedly I would start PSO2 after this season if I'm not getting witch queen with the year expansion. But after this fiasco I'm keeping up on old OS phasing out for almost all live service game and keeping my hand more on single player games that are designed for older systems, or save for better PC build. Also started model kit building hobby so that's a better past time if your wallet allows it.

Edited by China's Government=Fascist: 8/30/2021 2:55:45 PMSadly a lot of affected people are still on Win7 because they can't afford a PC that will run Win10 and Destiny 2 well at the same time, much less Win11 with its probable additional $100 hardware cost for hardware that doesn't even benefit most users, only corporations. This bug is kicking some of the most "vulnerable" D2 players while they're down, some of them people depending on the game to take their minds off loved ones dying and other horrible events. It's very inequitable and uninclusive, to borrow a few words, especially compared to most of the other bugs and issues except perhaps the worsening overall state of PvP. And it feels so unreasonably hard to even be meaningfully heard on topics like those.

One of those vulnerable people right here, lost my mother in January, destiny was there to keep me going. Am also poor enough to still be on win7.

They kinda are updating us, i think they dont work at weekends though.

The game is a live service game, running 24/7 and they don't work weekends?

They said that they won't fix this before the weekend begins, if I remember correctly. So its a hint that they dont work that much on weekends. They're still people, they cant work all the time.

What they can do is be given enough time and other resources by management to test and fix problems like these before they're released into the wild. I don't blame the workers, I place the blame where it belongs - the people we can't even reach.

You would think that you would own all the required OS versions that you claim to support, then you can easily test each one. If somehow your win7 test pc got into the game despite the problems we're having, maybe let us know what is different with yours.

I get it, I'm just depressed and missing the game. It's all their fault for making a game that ruins other games. Nothing is like destiny.

I know, i feel that too, im with you. Im sad too that i cant play the game bcuz its amazing. The thought of not playing the game for no longer makes me depressed as well. Ill upgrade the pc in the future but i cant right now.
