After watching the showcase of the Witch Queen and waiting with hype for the Season of the Lost, i am met with an error that says that the file "api-ms-win-core-path-l1-1-0.dll' is missing. Even after finding a website and downloading the file and putting the dll, i get a different "system error" called "0xc000007b". Ive seen from many posts that all Win7 users and as well as a few cases of Win8 and Win10 that have this error as well or cant run the game. They tried every kid of fix but it seems its up to Bungie to fix it since the problem has to do with the game builds. It has been since Tuesday and Bungie hasn't done anything yet and im afraid they're eventually gonna ignore it. But lets be fair, they at least acknowledged the issue but i feel like this isnt enough. Dont forget the fact that many people paid for this game and cant play, its very saddening and unacceptable. So whoever reads this post, try different people to make posts (dont spam bcuz its not cool) so they can be forced to fix it if they see that a lot of people have this issue. Thank You. Links that refer to the situation that a lot of people face, i suggest reading them as well:

1 ReplyEdited by Magalhaes, Vinny: 8/30/2021 12:37:55 AMwhen I run the game the battleye opens a tab where these words are written: 02:39:32: Starting BattlEye Service.. 02:39:36: Launching game... 02:39:44: Note: File blocks can be ignored if they don't cause problems with the game. 02:39:44: [INFO] Blocked loading of file: "C\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapss\common\Destiny 2\destiny.exe". I have avast antivirus and even disabling the modules or putting the game and anti cheat executables in the exceptions part, I still have the same error and says that the "api-ms-win-core-path-l1-1-0.dll" is missing.. note: I searched about the other games that run this same anti cheat and that some people had this same bug

1 ReplyEdited by China's Government=Fascist: 8/29/2021 7:45:05 PMAre we taking roll call of people affected by this bug here? Given the circumstances, including it not being a poll, I think we should, and that we should include people who want to fireteam with other people who are still unable to play Season of the Lost. Maybe we can have this near the top of trending when the people we need get back to work on Monday... Present! For good measure, here are links to another couple other new threads I can't edit into my old catalog because of the premature answer mark: 4 Great Job Bungie...Ruin the Weekend...
