NEWSFLASH: Shaders and Transmog have absolutely no effect on your gameplay.
Buy it or don't. Whatever you choose though, consider another perspective. Bungie doesn't want to lose players. That's now how businesses grow and achieve goals. They figure out ways to monetize products and increase profit margins. If they can do it by increasing the price of shaders, so what?
Do you even start to consider the vast sums of money they've invested into their products, and how much of it is now just given away for free with New Light?
Just sayin' guys..... Chill. They're shaders and Transmog. It's not a new exotic quest for an OP rocket. It isn't changing gameplay at all. Once these things become available, how many of us are REALLY going to unlock a ton of different sets? I'm with you, I'd like to have more, but I get it man. They've got to make money. They have a Budget and it has to be met. If this is how they do it, and I get a great expansion when Witch Queen drops, awesome. Personally, I just don't care. There isn't an ornament I don't own, and I'll probably drop a few bucks on Transmog too. I understand not everyone is an adult with money to burn though. I think people are taking this whole thing just a bit too seriously though.

No chill when the entire promo for this season is transmorg only to be controlled. Also the more you guys ask for anything they more they do this. oh you want x It costs y We hear you We see you We read your feedback But supply n demand in game framework Ask for anti cheat? Oh its a needed item? Oh itll cost. Play base game at full cost of any full release game but with bungie you just get the game outline. To fill outline you gotta pay Chill they say ... smh

Newsflash - cosmetics in games absolutely is gameplay. Games are visual mediums - cosmetics are visual play elements Like saying graphics don’t matter doesn’t affect gameplay. Effects immersion. That’s a gameplay element.

They made their -blam!-ing money. They got paid for their work. Handsomely. So handsomely that they were able to hire 300 new staff to develop their new game in the middle of a global -blam!-ing pandemic during economic collapse.

You genuinely can’t defend this. While it’s a business, they’re blatantly making you pay for items you already own (I’m talking about the transmog system here). How far does this need to go for yourself to actually sit down and say enough is enough, it might not seem like a big deal. But reading this twab is like reading a parody. They’re making the worst aspects of mobile games and mmo’s into this shared world shooter. And from reading the Twab, they’ve shown absolutely zero respect for the players time
