This is suppose to be a game that you play with your friends. So why not make it so we can do it together as a group of 3

Because solo players have been asking since D1 about more meaningful solo content. Hence, solo lost sectors and solo PvP playlists.

Because if that was possible, you could get easy carries to exotics

No, make it so some people have to actually try and get good exotics. It makes perfect sense. These lost sectors demand a good build that accounts for the modifiers, prevents players from sitting back and avoiding all challenge due to the timer, and has enemies that deal a good amount of damage. Good loot should not be a handout. Not everyone should complete and activity on their first, second, or even tenth try.

It’s impossible for you then unless your boyfriend gets on your account. But ya, There should be at least a smaller chance for teams to get exotics. Having none is silly in a co-op game.

Besides it feels better to earn it myself. Even if it’s with other people the achievement is still mine if I’m playing. Just like all the hard work I put into getting Thorn and malfeasance. (Thorn was a -blam!- since I hate pvp)

Bungie is not going to change how the lost sectors work based on player feedback (pigs will fly before that happens), so if you want to use the exotics you paid for without paying extra before the servers shut down, you gotta swallow your pride. And yes, obviously your boyfriend has his own account, otherwise he wouldn’t be able to solo a lost sector. I got on my ex’s account to help her out when she was stuck with things like the Last word final mission (which was solo-only). And if you’re relying on teammates to help you clear difficult content and you know you’re not doing much, then I don’t see much difference whether you’re there or not it’s a delusional feeling to think you contributed when you know the other guys could do it on their own and you couldn’t. Also, your objective is not really an ‘achievement;’ it is to get the exotics as fast possible to enjoy them. Even a clear is not guaranteed to drop you anything. It can take over 20 or 30 successful attempts. That is far beyond your capabilities. If you want to challenge yourself to solo a lost sector afterwards for the héll of it or to get different roll, then fine, but I doubt you’d be able to or care enough to. I saw you in another post admitting you’re bad, so I suggest you truly come to terms with that fact & embrace it by doing what you have to do.

Is that why your play history shows no lost sectors? Could not find one instance on your hunter or Titan all the way back to November where are you ran any of the lost sectors and your warlock was never high enough.

I’ve tried to run them many times. But like I said I never get very far. And I tend to use my hunter most. And my light wasn’t high enough to do it until perhaps the last month

Still not sure what you were doing wrong. 1250 with the right load out we’re actually easy once you figure them out. 1280 now that’s a different story. You do get one life back for every champion you kill. Depending on which one it was I would average between 6 to 9 minutes per run sometimes not dying ,sometimes dying one or two times. Now the real kicker is ,this is coming from an old guy, not some controller welding teen or 20 some thing. Now I hate PVP because I just can’t compete at my age anymore, but goddamn the lost sectors weren’t that hard.

I never use those because unless the target stands perfectly still I can’t get a shot off. Let alone a head shot

Snipers are useless vs. champions. In the previous season the easiest way was with SMGs for barrier and nades for overload. And of course a sword to clean up.

Lol, either can I. Never ever use a sniper in the lost sector, not sure who told you that, definitely not. I always have a pulse rifle for the primary ,hard light because it doesn’t matter which burn with that gun and fallen guillotine.
