Unpopular opinion, I hate exotics tied to lost sectors
Seriously I’m at 1270 and before the update I still couldn’t beat the first area of 1250 without dieing all three times...the enemies hit way to hard and my damage does nothing to them. Even at 1270.
To clarify this was my light level for the 1250,1280 lost sectors. Not as they are now.

For solar or arc lost sectors, use Eriana's Vow to defeat barrier champs and to drop any of the elemental shields. Equip your solar or stasis subclass (no matter the mission) - then use your dusk field or solar grenades to stun the overload champs. If there's a solar burn, I prefer the solar subclass because your super is also more useful to resist hordes or kill the boss. For void lost sectors, use the Black Talon void sword. It is effective both as a sword and to cast void bolts to kill the boss.

It so sure it’s an unpopular opinion. I hate lost and hate being FORCED to play pve. And to top it off, the champions FORCE you to play certain load outs. Champions should be removed

2 RepliesThe challenge lost sectors are good for rewarding aspirational solo content but there should be more ways to farm exotics. Lost sectors being the best way to target farm makes no sense.

6 RepliesSorry, but are you disabled? I did this lost sector for the new chest pice for titan and I was only light 1275 while the lost sector is 1300, died once over 10 runs because of my mistake. I get that its boring doing it alone, but it aint hard in the slightest.

2 RepliesSomething’s wrong on your end... cause I got my Mask of Bakris at 1210ish doing the 1270-80 (whatever it was, the higher powered one) version.... I’ve gotten all mine. They are extremely easy... at least to me

The whole SOLO thing is bull excrement, bungle sets up an MMO and gives us quests to do solo.

I dont mind, but its a fair opinion IMO. I reckon they should be acquirable via world drops [i]or[/i] focus-farmable via Lost Sectors. Either/or just seems to leave some folks cold. Why not both? Neither devalues the other as far as I can tell.

5 RepliesBunker E15 is by far the easiest of all the lost sectors. There’s plenty of cover and the boss fight you can just stay outside the room and pick away at the boss with an anti barrier weapon. And let the champions come to you.

I like the idea of long hard content for exotics but exotics haven’t been special to me since vanilla D1 where people only knew they existed by word of mouth. I think it’s just to extend playtime, like the overloads being super buggy last season and then we have to use a bow to stun them consistently.

Bungie wouldn't raise the power level for lost sectors each season, because that would mean they are creating their own power creep and would negate a major reason why sunsetting exists (according to people here that say power creep can't be stopped in any known or unknown universe any other way, either now or in the future).

I really don't enjoy things where the whole thing is to be underleveled (even when you aren't because level makes no difference) and just have to beat your head against the wall repeatedly. This is NOT fun IMO and not how I want to spend my time in the game. It's the exact same reason I don't do GM Nightfalls. I can't stand the whole concept. I much prefer puzzles and mechanics where if you work as a team to do the mechanic, you can beat it. That's why I like raiding. Anyhow, I get why they did it... why else would anyone play that ridiculous and stupid thing they created if they didn't lock something behind it. I also have a huge bee in my bonnet over the best weapons being locked behind that Trials dumpster fire. Right now, I very much despise Bungie for the direction of this game and have started to drastically cut back on my play time. I'm just exhausted at being forced to play things that make me miserable because that's the ONLY way to get a piece of armor or weapon I want. The community (except for the elitist a-holes) has been very vocal about wanting multiple pathways to get things so we can choose our own way. Bungie is clearly NOT listening 😡

I’d be more supportive if the drop rates were higher and if we were allowed to focus our drops to specific exotics. Since this is a solo activity and it’s a boring Lost Sector that is not fun to grind over and over solo, they need to do both of those things to get me to actually do it consistently. It’s not the best “repeatable” solo activity.

However, if you do it solo you should have a better chance of the exotic plus some extra prismatic materials as incentives to do it solo.

That Lost Sector power requirement must be for a team of thee, because it's a lie for a solo player.

I don't hate it but the drop rate is too trash like getting my first ursa furiosa at 24 lost sector, and one i time when i was farming precius scara (which is really good in endgame other that ursa) i get 5 helm of saint, wtf is this drop rate bungie?

You'd be suprised at how casual the majority of players are, as I hate doing Legendary Lost Sectors same as you. Seasonal exotic armor shouldn't be locked behind an area most players will never bother with without an alternate means of access.

5 RepliesHate them with a passion. Gate the Pinnacle, 65+ drops, sure. But what the actual hell is up with gating the only new exotic armor every season? It's part of the paid content and, sorry, the "git gud" crowd can stuff it. It's gotten so bad I'd rather unwind with WoW Classic. When a game in 2021 has a more frustrating and grindy progression system than OG WOW, they screwed up.

Never liked lost sectors, grinding lost sectors with RNG exotic drops, I like even less.
