They don't need help, everything that is created is planned the way it is. If they wanted weapons to compete with one another the sandbox would do their job as they should be doing, but they don't.
Edit: This company cracks me up. They have PvP players under so much control it's comical. Not all, but I would say the majority of them. Case and point, they make PvP chase the next go-to all the while complaining that players are not using certain weapons 😂

That's because D2 Y1 was so f'uped. They basically had to turn the game into mayhem all the time so people would have a reason to come back and try it. They would tweet video after video of OP exotics and pinnacle weapons coming to the game. They had to break their own game to get people to come back. That's why Foresaken was so well recieved. Then they started to claw us back by the end of the year. Couple that with the split from Activision and the ensuing lack of depth in content and here we are.
