No clue what you are talking about, that armor looks dope! Maybe the warlock could use a little help but the other two look amazing!k
-
Nice Halo Reach armor, do we get to use the knife assassination?
-
WHY DO THEY INSIST ON FU**ING GIANT TITAN SHOULDERS? ENOUGH ALREADY!!!
-
Thank goodness Transmoging is coming.
-
-
It’s ugly. Can’t lie.

D1 players know what Bungie is capable of giving us but somehow for some reason refuse to give us this level of quality. Moonfang armor, GoS armor, and pretty much everything from Eververse has been really good.... also, I love the EP armor on my Titan. The Seraph armor was a let down, looks like Beyond Light armor will be mediocre too. Hopefully the stat rolls are good.
-
Looks like the militaristic armor style bungie was going for back in 2014. I quite like it for that reason.
-
ye im definetly not wearing the new armor
-
Looks like crap .
-
The Europa armor is infinitely more ugly.
-
I can actually see that they reused textures from this seasons ornaments on the Warlock robes.
-
Man, I need to fsrm more EP before it goes away. Titan just looks terrrinle....
-
Those knives look like the knives that durian sellers use to cut open the shell.
-
Dude that looks terrible.
-
Ah yes, I can see why the Titan has stabbed himself in the throat. Whats with the batteries on the left hands too? Perhaps these sets are magnetic and just picks up random stuff? Yes maybe thats it! Its a secret clue to the next new subclass! Magnetism! Humanity is threatened by a giant living refrigerator that rises from Europa at the end of Beyond Light (2-hour in-game live event where The Fridge appears, nearly crashes into the tower but afterwards there is a small dent in one wall where it was hit by a piece of half frozen flaccid celery from the veg drawer (veg drawer only available to season pass holders). We have to defeat The Fridge before he uses everyone to stick notes to himself! He takes our light! But then we open the door and its back again. We enter the raid with a butter knife and have to chip ice off the inside. Have I gone too far?

Edited by Knightlight: 9/16/2020 5:06:23 PMThe hunter looks decent, the helmet gives me d1 vibes. They should take the knives out they look photoshopped
but wtf is the titan and warlock set. It looks like they need a sandwich. They went through the dumpster taped some junk on them and called it a day.
Personally I like the look of the new armor and plan on trying to get a full set
-
This whole concept of “One set of armor shared across all three core activities just with different shaders” does not sit well with me at all. We’ve waited 2+ YEARS for an update to vendor armor sets. Two. Years. And they can’t even bother to make unique sets for each vendor? That’s just not excusable in my opinion.
-
That Titan knife is a total afterthought.
-
I don’t think they look that bad tbh (scatter horn armor was way uglier) but if transmog is only possible through silver or bright dust, my disappointment will be immeasurable.

Enough with the huge shoulder plates on titans. It was a meme at first and now it’s just annoying.

Edited by Ghostfire239: 9/16/2020 5:59:59 AMThe Hunter is probably the best looking one and even it looks like shit. Hopefully the raid armour is good. I would gladly accept them reskinning D1 armour sets (especially the vanilla D1 armour sets) since most of those were much better than what we get nowadays

Edited by Soul_Eater_42: 9/16/2020 1:29:10 AMUgh, it looks hideous. I'd rather have any of the Vanguard sets from D1 than that monstrosity. Honestly, aside from one or 2 sets, most of the Vanguard armor sets in D1 weren't that bad. I kinda miss the Apex Harmonic and Unity Clad sets for the Warlock, and the Sanction Six and Fear Eater sets for the Hunter, from House of Wolves. This, however, is just a downright lazy and low effort armor design. We've waited 2+ for them to finally give us a vendor refresh for the Vanguard and Crucible armor, and this is what they came up with? I hope they're gonna make some nice ornaments to go with it, because I don't think anyone will really bother with trying to get this armor, aside from a small percentage of players. What the hell happened to the art direction in this game? Where are all the good concept artists? Why not hire some from the community, or hold some sort of community contest for new armor set ideas?

Why does the warlock look like the most generic shit I have ever seen? Seriously?? That's green level armor.
