The point is that this is the same kind of wake up call. We have been complaining bitterly about this games progression system now for two years. After looking like we were making progress in the first two seasons this year, the last twi have been not only giant leaps backwards.....
....but the baffling resurrection of systems and practices that we thought we’d make clear that we [i]hated[/i] as a community over a year ago.
A resurrection that can’t be rationalized away as an unfortunate result of parallel development. But can only be explained as a basic disregard of content design principles that were loudly applauded by this community.
