Edited by TekkaCroe: 6/6/2020 10:59:00 PMThose last couple of minutes were quite exciting and well-presented. But the impact of it was just totally deflated by the over-long buildup. Those of us who actually showed up at the scheduled time were treated to: ~30 minutes of precisely nothing. ~30 minutes of small red lines crawling toward the Almighty. ~25 minutes of "anime_space_battle.gif" overlaid onto the Almighty. There's building suspense, and then there's taking it so slow that people start to question whether the game is bugged and malfunctioning. Had the event steadily unfolded and concluded within the hour it was scheduled to occur, I think people would be a lot less peeved about it. A full hour is the longest I think I'd be willing to ask someone to wait for a "stand around and watch" event. Man, the grind is one thing, but now even the scripted narrative sequences don't respect the players' time. [EDIT: grammar]
