We're constantly getting nerfed now and it makes the game way less fun. Sun-setting is a shadow nerf because we know based on season of worthy weapons that new gear is just going to be weaker than current gear, but we won't be able to use our clearly superior old weapons in content where it actually matters. Nerfing reload perks is not going to make players switch to garbage perks like hip fire grip and pulse monitor, they're just going to keep using the now weakened reload perks and be unhappy that they got nerfed. Warlock movement speed got nerfed for no reason with the removal of Warlock skating, the only thing making their movement usable at all, and they keep on nerfing the already weakest class. When are you going to stop pushing Destiny 2 back towards year 1, the worst time in it's history? Make us stronger and let us have fun. If you can't make the game balanced or challenging then so be it, a game should be fun above all else. If it isn't fun, why would anyone bother to waste their time playing it?

Most of the current players are new. Look, I used to be a top 3% player. Over the last year, I've cut my playtime down about 80-90%, but somehow I've moved into the top 2% of players with about 2120 hours total playtime since launch. I think Bungie is more focused on bringing in new players than they are keeping veteran players.

I just don't see why people would still play. Notice how in all these TWABs, we haven't heard a peep about actual content? tHeYrE sAvInG tHaT fOr a sUrPrIsE These nerfs and sunsetting and everything they do is done to extend the grind and increase artificial difficulty to cover for their utter lack of engaging content.
-
The players are not quiting for that. SBMM Cheaters No good loot No pve content The people are quiting for all those problems Fist time I see pve and pvp players disappointed that much at the same time.
-
Imagine being the -blam!-ing brainlet in Bungie that says "Duhh... reload perks are too overpowered." This company have lost their -blam!-ing minds.
-
I hope that Mr. Smith will nerf himself out of Bungie. That would be the ultimate reward!
-
This game is no longer about fun.
-
Yeah this game really sucks
-
You still play the mindless disposable equipment game. its trash and they are flushing it hard. Just a waste of time in my opinion. I have more fun in the division 2 so clearly my bar is set low. people tried talking and they just listen to a hand full of yes man streamers. I see unemployment in their future, its true i saw it on the moon, ask Eris Morn.

In d1 some of the better but non meta perks were army of one and life support. If passive perks could be as good as those I’d be fine with it. But they aren’t. Hip fire grip is good, but not on a sniper. Yet it drops snipers. Wtf?
-
Veteran player wishing you all the best those who continue on with the game good luck with it all. big bird is free
-
Bungie is sun setting gear. Bungie is nerfing perks. What part is supposed to get me excited enough to reinstall Destiny 2?
-
Nerfs are nothing new in this franchise. Half my friends list stop playing, when they heard about weapons sunsetting. Imagine taking 5 minutes just to kill a minor cos the reload is too slow and our weapons in Y4 don't have any damage perks.
-
Bungie just looks at the data, sees something over used and nerfs it instead of asking why... the reason people run reload perks is that normal reload is too slow. Nerfing the perks doesn't fix that. If they want more variety they should have buffed base reload speed and re-tuned the perks so that they do not get stronger do to the base speed buff.
-
Nerfs are good. Freshens the game up
-
All the nerfs have actually made me quit. I loved being powerful, using my powerful guns, powerful supers, powerful super regenerating exotics, powerful abilities.
-
Im just glad that there's so much open and honest communication between the player base and developers.
-
It would be REALLY, REALLY nice if bungie would pull their head out of their ARSE and separate PVE from PVP. That would put an end to nerfs and weapon tunings, it’s stupid to let pvp dictate the course of this game and what weapons get nerfed (ruined). It would solve a lot of problems in the game, but it would require Bungie admitting they screwed up and making this NECESSARY game saving change, a change that should have happened in D1.
-
This is the only game where I’ve ever seen such a negative stigma around nerfs. I’m most games it’s just understood that nerfs are necessary for a game to succeed. Here people just scream and cry like babies.
-
-
And will make people coming back that left because things were overpowered. It doesn't only go one way.
-
Keep in mind that this is YOUR opinion. I like the nerfs to reload perks. I like sunsetting. We can both have our reasons for believing what we believe. If these nerfs are seriously going to drive you away from the game, then that’s on you. Just wait to make that decision until we see how the reload perk nerfs and sunsetting actually affect the game. Remember how sunsetting saved D1 *cough* Touch of Malice *cough*. Maybe it can have a similar effect in D2
-
Do you honestly think Bungie cares? They’ve acknowledged the player feedback, yet are continuing with their plans. So they clearly don’t care about player feedback. As the past many years have already demonstrated
-
I miss doing 999,999 damage with buffs and celestial nighthawk.
-
This isn’t entirely the case. If it were the only things you would see in pvp is HC,shottys and snipers. Oh wait Ok I get it.
-
If your feeling weak in pve, try out this season's warmind cell mods. I'm sure you can find a combination that works best for you. My favorite combo is global reach, rage of the warmind, wrath of rasputin, and fireteam medic. I used this loadout in broodhold grandmaster ordeal and it wrecked everything.
