Respectfully, I think you’re missing the point. The argument isn’t that the super isn’t strong enough, but rather how long it takes to activate. You’re right in that it’s a class designed to play the neutral game, but the excessive activation time makes this a weaker and less viable option than it should be.
When I hear a nearby enemy activate their super, and I throw down a tether with a good enough distance between myself and the opponent, it should IMMEDIATELY trap/disable them. There should be absolutely zero delay. There are far too many times when the enemy super kills you, and then after you’re dead, the tether finally activates to suppress them. This should never, ever happen. Ever.

Doesn’t it immediately suppress the super if you hit them directly though ?
