If you really think about it it’s what we had since they separated with Bungie.
Nerfs, more D1 content, maps, super nerfs, weapon nerfs and no new Eververse engrams earned through playing the game that actually rewards new cosmetics and emotes. I don’t have a problem with Eververse to begin with, but I just find it odd you took away the access to earn new emotes and ornaments away unless you pay.
Again, it’s not an issue to me since I could care less to spend $10 lousy dollars on a few things since it’s not a “pay to win” system but why take the option away?

Bungie under Activision: -$20 expansions that were questionably cut content from D1 repurposed for D2 that also recycled weapons -Simplified RPG elements, PVP, and PVE gameplay -Eververse giving engrams which contained most of the new cosmetics behind pure RNG and didn't have dupe protection along with providing RNG based bright dust -$30 annual pass that didn't allow people to buy individual seasonal content -gated players based on expansion, forcing them to buy content they don't want -throttled XP secretly -reworked core systems such as shaders to encourage buying from Eververse Bungie after the split: -D2 goes FTP and gave the first 2 expansions for free -Cross save -moved to the superior Steam platform, making deals on the content a frequent thing -more freedom to choose which content players want and not requiring them to play the base game -provides more unique exotics as opposed to D1 weapons -improved endgame with more endgame activities -consistent way to earn bright dust through weekly bounties -gives recycled content free such as rusted lands and outbreak perfected -new systems such as the artifact and better mod abilities, giving us stronger characters -new weapon perks and mods -new Eververse items are behind a pay wall instead of RNG, garuanteeing what you pay for, while old cosmetics are earned through every few ranks -far more shaders, emotes, and other cosmetics earned through gameplay and seasonal ranks -universal ornaments In the words of Joker, "I'm not saying... I'm just saying."
