Bungie Doesn't Respond To CRITICISM.
Some of you probably have seen my most recent post. Almost 1200 upvotes. Thanks to everyone who took part in that.
In one of the Bungie vidocs, they said Shadowkeep will be a two way conversation between them and the community. They told the truth. But twisted the words.
If you ever just casually stroll around here in the forums, you'd know Bungie replies to certain feedback. But take a look at how much of it is "oh this is awesome!" or "Bungie you're the best."
They only respond to things they like. Blind praise for 95% of the time.
Last night was a perfect chance for Bungie to respond to a thread like mine. Was trending. Top of the board. 900+ upvotes in less than a day. What does bungie do? They respond to the thread directly underneath mine. Less upvotes by more tha. 75%. Less comments by I dont remember how much but A LOT.
They didnt just miss it. They're hypocrites. They're liars. They can not handle criticism. That's why posts like mine do not get replied to.
Side note...this is not an entitlement thread. I'm not entitled to anything, but it's hard to NOT reply to a trending topic with 1200 upvotes.

That said, we [b]honestly may not respond to every topic that has large amounts of upvotes[/b], in that we may have responded to a smaller thread with the same topic a day prior. That said, I can hit threads like yours with links to our existing responses. That said, in response to this thread and the other, we're currently giving feedback to the team over Eververse and the lack of vendor refreshes. Once we have information, we'll let you know.

Ask yourselves this: what weapons from shadowkeep will you keep using in the future? For me its none. Every shadowkeep weapon is underwhelming. Fuxking terrible man. They took zero chances with creativity. Played it totally safe and yet they still let recluse run wild in pvp and pve.

Who wants to make a gentlemen's bet this next Dawning will go right back to this BS with Eververse and Bungie will use the excuse "things are subject to change" again so they can keep playing their childish games? What this all comes down to, constructive feedback whether it be negative or not means absolutely Nothing to this company and it shows how disrespectful they actually are. There is no way in hell knowing they have had 5 freaking years of way over the amount of feedback that they don't know what they are doing. Just the Dawning vid alone that I posted proves that.

My problem with bungie is the fact they have made the game f2p which is all well and good if you haven't already spent nearly 200 quid buying all the add ons and then they make them free, and what do the people get who bought all the content and supported them in the beginning? Absolutely nothing, simple way to settle this give the people who bought your content in beginning shadowkeep for free, I think that sorts a little bit of the problem out.

I actually think they listen to the complaints on this forum to much, every time there is a cry for a gun to be nerfed it is eventually heard, the players in here are the hardcore, vocal minority and don’t represent the actual wishes of the majority

[Edit] Okay, now after finding the thread you were even talking about I'm not surprised you have that many upvotes. Your criticism of Eververse isn't unique. This is something the forums have been complaining about for months now.

Edited by hazardousr3ject: 11/9/2019 1:53:03 PMI understand your post, and at times it frustrates me to, however - I know that dmg and cozmo only have limited knowledge about future changes, as well as the power to make big changes to the game. So when someone posts on the form of how great the game is or a player posts something about a cool feature it is much easier for them to reply because they are not being hammered with questions and negative feedback that they can’t change or give a satisfactory answer to. I am sure that they come away with a long list of potential changes to hand off to the developers, but that is all they can do on the matter.

I’ve never been able to wrap my head around the fact that Bungie absolutely refuses to interact with the community. Seriously, I’ve been Bnet for 8yrs and been playing Bungie games for close to 2 decades. All 3 Destiny Community Managers do not interact with the community. I’m sure it’s not because they don’t want to. It’s policy at HQ that communication with the player base only is to occur as required. It’s the Bungie way. When it’s time for you to reach for your wallet then there will be some more interaction. That Studio at Bungie HQ. There’s zero reason that they couldn’t do a Live TWAB every single week Zero.

They never respond to the posts with real info, facts and QoL potential fixes, they just pick some easy fix posts and at this point i'm tired and pretty much dissapointed as a customer and a player of this community with how they handle the forums feedback. And all of this is sad, because there's people with really good new ideas, potential fixes for some bugs or balance on pve/pvp for some weapons, archetypes, exotics, supers (do you think that i forgot about the sentinel hit registration bungie? 2 years and nothing, how can bungie be this incompetent to not fix this or the hit registration in general for some things on crucible?) but no, let's pick a random post every week to answer (about that, i still can't recall 1 single post with feedback about gambit private matches, it's welcome and all...but i don't remember anyone talking about it here or on reddit and you specifically said that on the vidoc) and let's pass it to the team, that is going to do nothing with the feedback the majority of the time. So, bungie said that they wanted to have better communication to us, but they at the same time don't want to deal with criticism to improve and have a better product and don't want to invest on the game just for the sake of having something decent.

They aren’t going to respond to every criticism post because either A) they’ve said the same response in the twab along with 20 other posts B) people usually give them crap C) they don’t have an answer for the question and they get bs whether they say something or not. Not saying they’re perfect cause they aren’t but y’all gotta remember there’s people behind the screen.

1 ReplyI jumped all over a ninja the other day because him and one other like locking posts because they spoke out against people who complained about eververse. People have the right the speak out against people who don't understand why eververse is the way it is at the moment.
