Sure. Lets go back to what Destiny was BEFORE Eververse. 1. Basically no seasonal events. 2. Basically no Seasons. The only content you got was DLC releases. 3. Only one good raid a year. 4. No dungeons. 5. No exotic quests. 6. No parts of the game that was free to play. If you didn't buy the DLC the game left you behind. 7. HUGE content droughts lasting MONTHS. Yep. Lets make a GIANT leap backwards....but hey...at least we'll have gotten rid of microtransactions......

    If you stopped at the second sentence you would’ve got my up vote. Exotic quest, you mean repeating old content for about an hour and here is your gun. Whisper was fun though, if only there was a reason to go back other than to get quick kills for a masterwork. Seasonal content - you mean like solstice which required basically to do the same things over and over again only for the armour to be out dated the following week. Who is wearing the solstice armour this week? Raids - raids that are short they feel like six man strikes (eater of worlds etc) and how many D2 raids would make people’s top three list? Enemies - one new enemy in D2? Huge content??? Lasting months?? Perhaps weeks before people get bored, how many people are still doing blind well?

    Eater of world's was a raid lair, smaller than a regular raid. Still, Crota was basically a bigger strike too and then there was the prison of elders. Don't act like what we've got isn't better, what we have is an improvement, whether it's a big one or not. Also the comment said huge content droughts of which there were plenty. Again, what we have is still an improvement.

  • I think (and just my opinion) we just got an update of D1 or an expansion of D2. So much old stuff from D1 was bought into d2. Needs similar stuff cause it is a continuation but not so much overlap such that we are grinding for the same stuff all over again.

  • Unfortunately these activities aren’t really worth doing much without loot. Shadowkeep doesn’t have all that much loot worth chasing. From what I’ve heard there’s basically nothing in the Dungeon? What’s the point of playing it more than once then if there’s no loot to farm? They need to find a balance. I don’t mind a few micro transactions, but not at the expense of game loot. Like Zero Hour, Whisper and Shattered Throne were cool, but it’s a shame there isn’t any reason to play them after the exotic they have. Give us some game loot instead of just shoving stuff in eververse otherwise there won’t be anything worth doing in the game.

  • The dungeon gives loot that would otherwise have to be grinded much harder for, all at pinnacle power levels, and the final loot drop is fully masterworked, which is something that is normally expensive as all hell to achieve. Essentially, though the dungeon has nothing special in and of itself, it's a fun activity that grants rewards that would otherwise take much longer to acquire.

  • That and the fact that it's there for players to try to challenge themselves. There's an emblem for completing it solo flawlessly. My one gripe with the dungeon is that the emblem you get for completing it isn't for completing it solo like the last dungeon, especially since this one is shorter and easier.

  • Still trying to figure out the right setup for a hunter on the annihilator totem location on console for the solo attempt. That part seems to be my biggest issue for the run right now
