32 RepliesEdited by TheShadow-cali: 11/1/2019 12:23:08 PMYou could post this for years and it will never happen. The only thing that will happen is Bungie's greed will for a fact get worse with Eververse. The-higher-ups screwed up this game big time and since they did, they are cashing out before they drop there new game in 2025 to be expected. So get used to the selfish people jacking up the cost instead of being a gaming company creating a decent game. The name Bungie needs to be stripped from them. They are an embarrassment using that name on what the company uses to be about and that was creating quality content, not trying to use the unsuspecting players.

2 RepliesReddit is actually against it more than not Fun fact.

2 RepliesAnyone who has bought silver should be ashamed, ruined the game and have given bungie the incentive to ignore everything else and milk eververse.
-
105 RepliesYou do realize that eververse pays to have around so you get new stuff to do right? You don’t have to buy anything, and the game plays the same. When ever I see these posts I just think someone’s parents gave them everything they ever wanted and never had to earn anything. Just stop.

12 RepliesJust a reminder that Bungie was caught XP throttling and their response was to regroup and wait some time then it was: F—K You how’s an engram every 5 levels instead that rewards old items?? I’m just grinning after all the white knights scape goated Activision for so long. It’s more than interesting that Bungie aims to be a publisher and looks like they are falling in Activision’s footsteps. When that transformation completes, all the loyal defenders will quietly slip into the shadows.

If you don’t like it, don’t buy anything from it. Won’t change your gameplay, you just won’t have a fancy ornament. Stop complaining about something that doesn’t affect your gameplay.
-
Anyone else feel like they made parts of the game F2P just to jack up the EverPurse prices? Like so they can say hurrrr durrrr it’s free to play like Fortnite, no one complains about their prices hurrrr durrrrt

#remove eververse

With the player base dropping back to what it was before “new light” and “shadowkeep” I think the plan was to put the items in cash shop for a high price to milk the new players and the hardcore bungie -blam!- swallowers. Once playerbase levels out (500k-1mil) my guess is that the cash shop will reduce its price tags to encourage speeding with the classic “we’ve listened to feedback” >< So just wait a while and things should improve, don’t spend money on overpriced cosmetics. Enjoy the game as it is and look forward to those lower prices in future.

Don’t buy anything

10 RepliesEdited by TheArtist: 10/31/2019 8:22:24 PMSure. Lets go back to what Destiny was BEFORE Eververse. 1. Basically no seasonal events. 2. Basically no Seasons. The only content you got was DLC releases. 3. Only one good raid a year. 4. No dungeons. 5. No exotic quests. 6. No parts of the game that was free to play. If you didn't buy the DLC the game left you behind. 7. HUGE content droughts lasting MONTHS. Yep. Lets make a GIANT leap backwards....but hey...at least we'll have gotten rid of microtransactions......

I say NO!!! Leave the dang thing as is. #Throw my money at the screen. It's my hard earn cash and I'm buy whatever the gell I want.
-
5 RepliesHonestly I'd rather they keep eververse because it means they get to charge me less for expansions. Essentially, the people spending big money on the eververse are paying for the game for everybody else. Though, they could certainly make the items in it more attainable for players who don't have that kind of money to throw around.
-
There's nothing in there anyone needs .. People who want the item will spend the $$ .. Eververse doesn't need to be removed
-
Like I said in the other popular thread, the sale of cosmetic items in a virtual world will never cease when said virtual world is free to play. (Yes, I know you must purchase the expansions to move beyond New Light.)
-
You have a choice .....buy stuff or not buy stuff? It makes no difference to how I want to play destiny .
-
No maybe you should either get the message developers have a right to make money
-
3 RepliesNOPE! I work 12 hours a day 5 days a week and 8 on Saturdays. If I CHOOSE to spend MY hard earned money on a COSMETIC item that does not affect YOUR game play it should NOT concern you at all. Besides I think the Skeleton Ornament on my Hunter looks SICK!! Thanks Bungie & Tess!
-
1 ReplySeeing how the game is free now they need to make profit to pay the people to make these expansion, pay the voice actors and etc. this shit ain’t easy to do and cost money
-
21 RepliesI support this post but here’s how it will fail The majority of people displeased with bungie and their shady practices have left(hence player numbers dropping continuously). What we have left are a small minority of people like you that want eververse gone and the game to be good. The larger number of remaining people are the bungie fan boys who blindly follow every bad decision The problem here is two things 1. As more people leave the game, there are less people calling out bad decisions like the #removeeververse movement last Christmas, so bungie wrongly assume they should keep doing these things 2. Because the fan boys now heavily outnumber the people criticising, any negative comment gets drown out These things lead to only one scenario. Eventually there won’t be enough players left to keep the game running, the fan boys will finally see the problems but it will be too late. Bungie will drop them. Drop destiny and move onto a new project where they hope they can rebuild their reputation

3 RepliesIf it's so bad then why do so many throw money at the screen?
-
You can get lots of free stuff and just ignore the paid for items...

C'mon man! Don't you want to:
Create a costume for your Guardian and strike a pose in the perfect setting. Snap a screenshot in any Destiny 2 destination or activity. Play with shaders and armor combinations for the spookiest outcomes. Group participation is encouraged!
Yes, that sound exactly like instructions you would receive in Elementary School. I actually laughed when I read that. Remember Guardians! Don't eat the paste!
