Had to look up your stats when you mentioned potato teammates. Again, you have a sub 1 kd. If all your team mates shared your performance, you would not win. If matchmaking was glory based as it has always been, than you would be complaining.

My kd fluctuates all over the place per match. As low as .5 as high as 13.0. Kd doesnt mean anything to anyone except tryhards trying to shame other players. My overall crucible kd is actually positive and has been. But again, this doesn't matter. I play crucible for fun. Not stats. As my original post states, this is about not moving backwards in a game. I cant name one other AAA shooter that reverts progress. I like a grind. And im not alone in that mentality.

And this is not shaming, but simply an observation stemming from the claim you made about potato teammates, where you yourself seem to belong on average. Rank is tied to skill, in any activity. Bungie has relaxed this to the extreme, where it no longer holds that meaning and has instead made it about grind. So you should be embracing this change, not complaining about it. This seasons comp is akin to playing pee wee basketball while being able to rank at the top of the NBA.
