The Festering Core Strike Is Amazing
I didn’t pay attention to the new strike on IO and just played it and have to say it’s so awesome. Great job Bungie. 💠👍

1 ReplyDidn’t get to play it all the way through because the servers decided I was having too much fun and booted me to orbit and immediately replaced me with a new guy so I couldn’t join my friend back

3 RepliesInteresting more and environment, final boss was hardly a unique enemy. I was confused when I finished the strike because I thought we beat a mini boss before the final encounter :/ 6/10

F1st FPS You make some valid points and i agree that eververse must be removed from this game but, Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

1 ReplyIt is a good strike. Even though I haven't done the Raid, a buddy had a final boss checkpoint so we loaded in last night and ended up backtracking as far as we could, and that place is beautiful. Bungie's art team is always on point.

It's a lot of fun. Not sure why it was so stealthily released. I had no idea it was there, who goes to Io these days? Then I saw your post and gave it a whirl!

Not had it in strike playlist yet, launched the strike itself, joined at the end skipping all content and pretext having no idea what was happening. Strike ruined, but hey guess I shouldn't play a shared world game solo :/

It definitely isn’t bad, but is it the best? Eh... it feels like parts of the strike were left out, like the line from Ghost about the Ascendant Portal. My guess is that was the original intent for the strike, but was taken out due to time constraints. Add that on top of Savathun being a prime result of the strike, and you don’t even know what to trust anymore. Guarantee you that she saw us coming, and somehow turned it to her advantage in some way or another. You can’t use blunt force against the Witch Queen.

I still haven't had it in the Strike playlist yet, should get a chance to play it when I start grinding for the Vanguard ritual weapon.

I played it for the first time last night, and was blown away by the scenery. Those red/orange walls, the rotating pillars, it was amazing.

The strike is cool, I’ve only done it once and with randoms who don’t care to revive you.. But, I haven’t seen anything amazing as far as Destiny is concerned since D1..

Both strikes are damn good strikes, but the bosses need work. Especially Scarlet Keep.
