Its sad to read this and see all the comments of people complaining. It is NOT bungie's fault if you cant reach legend in comp. It is NOT your teammates fault that you lose 5 games in a row. It is NOT the broken matchmaking system in comp that causes you to lose. It is YOUR fault, plain and simple. Understandably so this game does match you with complete scrubs sometimes and you will have people leave matches early, but with the new point system in place for winning and losing only costs you minor glory now, if your on a streak and lose game it doesnt even take all of your streak bonus away. Sometimes I think 90% of people who post and reply here are just kids wanting this game to give you the best it has to offer on a silver plate. Get over it, practice and learn and try again. People need to start looking in the mirror more about who makes mistakes, and take responsibility for it. You wanna have the best this game has to offer? Earn it like the rest of us.

You and Bungie need to re-evaluate the concept behind the words 'competitive', 'true skill', SBMM, 3v3... I'm not going to copy/paste their definitions here for you. I will point out, however, that this freelance, solo competitive mode was advertised with these concepts inherent. What has been delivered is antithetical to what was advertised. Many guardians are complaining about unbalanced teams of grossly varying skill level, wonky connections that result in very inconsistent hit registration from match to match, 2v3 and 1v3 matches that end in shutouts. Well, who should we blame? Ourselves? Got it.

I take your point.. and yes i'm learning from mistakes.. but my post was about people leaving, i had 3 games in a row when people dropped out.. one we were even winning at the time.. plus i've typically been top of my team at the end of a match , so i'm not that bad.. i don't mind getting beaten, i like the challenge.. but repeated.. i'll say that again repeatedly people dropping out does add frustration and i don't think the others in a solo matchmaking team should be penalized.. is it happens alot (and it did to me over the weekend) i lost a ton of points.. doesn't matter how long i look at myself in the mirror it really isn't my fault..
