I’d agree with you if this wasn’t a Looter Shooter. Locking weapons behind PvP that only the good players can get, defeats the purpose of a Looter Shooter.

Actually, it doesn't. In any looter there needs to be items that are difficult to obtain. Even games like Borderlands has them.

Absolutely poor example dude. For one, Borderlands doesn’t have a dedicated PvP system like Destiny does. And two, Borderlands’ weapons and gear are like 99.99999% RNG, there’s no definitive quests that guarantee any of them unlike Destiny.

Umm I have everything in that game just about and they weren’t difficult at all. And the ones that were like the loot from Crawmerax I did it with friends and got what we all needed.

Yeah, it has them. Certain Pearls only coming from certain raid bosses such as Voracidous the Invincible on OP10. While you may have found it easy, the general community agrees that the boss is quite difficult. I can confidently relate the difficulty of fighting it to the difficulty of hitting 2100 now that you can't drop out of a rank prior to it.
