Game is free to play now. Expect grind and Bungie to 'assist' you in ways to shorten the grind. All it will take is a 'small' investment of real $$$$ by you. And remember it's not P2W, it's pay to advance faster. I've played War Thunder and World of Tanks/Warships/Warplanes enough to have known where Destiny was going the minute it went F2P. An old YouTuber for World of Tanks, Sliphantom aka Super Noodle, made a decent video on things with WoT. Though in a WoT issue I think it explains decently in most F2P games. And as a F2P game now it's doubtful Jim Sterling will even touch any issue here.
