While I appreciate ya Odin, Datto only expressed his opinion, not his fault that bungie keeps a watchlist on him

You know, for as much as you’re disgusted and disappointed with Bungie you seem to still play and I’m betting I’ll see you in 2 weeks knee deep in Shadowkeep regardless.

As much as I express my opinion and play the game doesn't mean I don't see its issues. You do know a hell of a lot of people play games but just because they do it doesn't mean they like the entire game? As far as seeing me play the Dattokeep when it releases? I stopped pre-ordering from Bungie back with The Taken King so you would be absolutely incorrect.

Hell I bought House of Wolves & Dark below as a bundle with No season pass. Then waited till TTK was on sale, same with D2. Never pre order till I see what is really there & get friends opinions as well. Changing their season pass wont change my buying habits.

I'd wait and see. I'm cautiously optimistic. The next season pass will determine what I think about Bungie and destiny. One thing it sounds like you're not keeping in mind is that this is the first time in Destiny that Bungie are in complete control. Give them a chance with this annual pass then form an opinion based on your experience. If they screw it up, it's on them and your frustration now will be justified, but you could be wrong and it could turn out well.

Personally, I've been playing video games for over 30 years, it's not hard to see when a company is heading in the wrong direction. If the battle passes and making Tess a priority, not properly updating vendors for 2 years and still no vendor refresh while removing factions that removed actual content, 9 sets of gear to be exact among other things? If that isn't enough after what this company has done this last 2 years with the cheap tactics and lying, I don't what to say. People think Activision controlled everything and that is a bunch of hogwash. Publishers do not create the actual content like the gear in this game that need major improvements when it comes to designs, they do not creat mechanics, they do not "balance" the game, they do not creat the story, they do not creat the skill tree, mods and a hell of a lot more. That was literally all Bungie as it is now. They already have creating a battle pass that will remove content, using the FOMO. No company that makes quality content "needs" Annual passes, battle passes, Tess, etc.... So you're comparing destiny.... to the king of the fps genre? The FPS that paved the way for all FPS games after? The game that was a selling point for any console it was on until they made Halo 4? I don't really think it's a fair comparison. And if your point is "Bungie made this," yeah, you're right. Bungie did make Halo. But Destiny isn't Halo. Nor is it Borderlands, or the Division, or Warframe. It's its own game, and people play Destiny to play destiny. And, on top of that, lightning doesn't strike twice. It's going to be really hard for anyone to beat Halo at it's best, even for the people who made Halo at it's best.

That's funny, that is like saying a mechanic that has been working on cars for 30 years as Bungie has been in business creating games, has no idea how to work on the new cars that come out because they're new. Do you even realize how dumb that sounds?

That is not what I said at all. I'm saying that halo's success is irrelevant to this scenario. And, as I know has been stated to you by other people, Destiny and Halo are completely different types of games. Just because Bungie struck gold in one genre doesn't mean they can do it again in another.

No, it's not irrelevant because I'm talking about quality content that was being created vs now. You literally have no say in that, it's just a straight-out fact that Bungie did better work back then they vs now.

Also, you realise that Halo is a completely different type of game altogether, right? Using the sales of the Halo franchise means nothing when you're comparing a single player game with multiplayer to an MMORPG.

This is an MMO and it is an RPG, they're even making it MORE of an RPG with Shadowkeep. As for making a decent game, you're aware that Bungie did say that they had deadlines put in place by Activision, right? O could be wrong on that but I'm sure I remember hearing about the fa t that Bungie had to rush out expansions, etc. Also, D1 never went backwards because it started in a shitty state with nowhere to go but forward in year 2. The exact same thing happened in D2, it had nowhere to go but FORWARD, it did t go backwards at all...
