ban 2M

Good evening, After a first ban of 2 weeks about 2 months ago, due to a really unstable connection, with various crashes and high latency during almost every single session, I worked to fix my line in the best way and effectively eliminating all the problems, to the point to be able to host a raid, Psn party and direct twitch simultaneously. Tonight I turn on and find myself a ban of 2 MONTHS due to unstable connection, without having crashed half-way through any activity. All this is unacceptable, I - blam! - spent and I'm continuing to spend money to play all the dcc and I'm banned this time without any valid reason and even worse without even a warning. I request the immediate revision of this totally absurd decision. Good work, YOUR CUSTOMER!

  • Restrictions are placed manually on accounts that are deemed to be repeatedly ruining game experiences for others in PVP, or gambit. Restrictions will not be overturned until their duration has passed. Use this time to stabilise and improve your network connection so that you stop harming games for other players. The first restriction will last two weeks. If you do not fix your connection, the next will be two months. If you still persist in ruining the game for others, you will be permanently banned from PVP in Destiny 2. Please be considerate of others and work on fixing your connection, to avoid further repercussions. You say you’ve fixed it but clearly YOU HAVEN’T done so effectively. 3.8mbps is on the low end for being within limitations. If any other devices on your network were to try and connect it’s unlikely that it would keep above the 1mbps that the game uses.

    • You may have fixed your issue, but often bans are issued some time after the behavior that earned them. You’re just going to have to wait out your restriction. I’d also advise avoid streaming on 3.8 Mbps Up. That’s plenty for Destiny, but not enough to stream as well without affecting your connection. It’s possible that is what earned your second restriction.

      • You have been given MULTIPLE warnings at this point with previous restrictions and yes the restrictions are warranted as when you have an unstable connection, you ruin the experience for other players.

        • You must still have an unstable connection. What are your up/down speeds? Latency? Ping? Jitter? Packet loss? Are you using a wired or wireless connection? Providing the above will enable people to help you troubleshoot.
