Gambit Weekly Bounty awarded the wrong gear
I just completed the weekly Collect and Conquer bounty from the drifter in the Reckoning Tier 3. When I claimed the bounty if said Notorious Collector Mask but when I looked in my inventory it was only the Outlawed Collector Mask. I need Bungie to fix this. You can see that I did the Tier 3 because I also received the Notorious Collector Strides. I did notice that upon claiming the bounty I received a message about "maintenance beginning momentarily". I have been playing Destiny from the beginning. I am curious to see if Bungie is actually listening and helping it's loyal community members or if my putting this post here (which seems to be the only way of contacting anyone at Bungie) is simply an exercise in futility. I hate the Reckoning but have been slogging through trying to get this gear. Whether or not Bungie fixes this issue will determine whether or not I continue with the game. I cancelled my preorder of Shdowkeep and will wait and see if the company cares about its community or not before giving any more of my money to this company.

1 ReplyThe tier you complete does not determine your reward from the weekly bounties. The tier of the helmet you receive is based on the number of times you have done that specific weekly bounty. To get any Notorious helmet, you have to do the weekly bounty for that helmet three times. The first time will get you the +1 helmet, the next week you can do it again to get the +2, and on the third week you can get the +3.

3 RepliesA kind soul pointed me toward a Reddit post detailing how to get around this. I have successfully done it and achieved my MMXIX title. As long as you still have any weekly bounty to receive a powerful headpiece from Drifter, you should be able to get it. For example, if you have tier 1 sentry headpiece already, then you simply need to go into tier 2 reckoning and wager middling sentry motes and you WILL get a tier 2 sentry headpiece to drop eventually. I got it as soon as I got the other pieces in the set. Then you can complete the powerful bounty like normal for the tier 3 helmet. If you don't have tier 1 headpiece for any other roles, then you simply load up reckoning tier 1 and wager weak motes until you get the headpiece, then continue on to the next step. Bungie should really have made these steps clear and it seems like a lot of people on the forums downvote these suggestions. Good luck! P.S. It should be noted this only works because you already have the powerful synthesizer and you have already unlocked a tier 2 headpiece for one role.

you can farm for outlawed helmets now in tier 2. farm that helmet, then complete that sets powerful helmet reward and you can get a notorious one this week

1 ReplyI also thought this was broken when I was collecting the notorious helmets for the badge/reckoner title, but you actually only get the next level up on the helmet you currently have. For example, if you haven't got the outlawed helmet (+2) before, you would get that from the bounty, if you do it again the following week you'll get the Notorius version (+3). Hope that helps

The Bounty doesnt always give notorious Armor but powerful armor, it is normal. i did hundreds of reckonings solo queuing during season of the drifter to get all the enhanced perks i wanted on my armor. Failed 50% or more of the time. So what?? Now it is more easy than ever before with increased Power Levels and the recent nerf to the enemies. You are a very pathetic, spoiled crybaby. Please uninstall this game immediately, you are not worthy to call yourself guardian.
