So I caved in and started UVHM in Borderlands 2
I hate it already. I got downed at Liar’s Berg. I didn’t fully die, but I still got downed. The difficulty spike is just as bad as I thought.
At least I’m getting Fire Emblem: Three Houses today

1 ReplyMandatory slag weapons is what caused me to stop playing BL2. I hate the mechanic. Without them, everything is such a bullet sponge that you won't have enough ammo for anything. Pretty much just stopped playing every character part way through UVHM. The furthest I got was with Krieg, where I was able to beat the main story, but unable to get very far in the DLC's.

4 RepliesSlag and shock weapons are needed big time in uvhm. The consumate florentine is a good weapon as it applies both elements, can be picked up in flamerock refuge for seraph crystals.

1 ReplyThe only real flaw with BL2 is the ridiculous scaling past level 50. Otherwise, it's almost perfect.

6 RepliesFire Emblem: Three Houses is a fantastic ass game. Beat it a day ago, man, this is what Fire Emblem Fates wanted to be. Voice acting is top notch, and the characters are so sweetly built.

6 RepliesEdited by DemonicChronic: 8/3/2019 1:54:38 AMI played through the game and all the major DLC on UVHM OP level 8 (as a mechromancer), but I was using a bee shield/sandhawk combo with other top tier legendaries like unkempt harold so it wasn't as ridiculously hard as it should have been. Constantly slagging (with magic missile and flourentine) of course as that's pretty much a necessity.

7 RepliesEdited by shell: 8/3/2019 12:17:47 AMI'd recommend going to normal/TVHM mode and grinding for Magic Missile in Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep. Slag is absolutely necessary in UVHM, and since it's a spell it regenerates over time.
