I agree 100% that Destiny feels like the most inconsistent multiplayer shooter I've played, granted it's been a while since I've played a CoD game. What you said about not feeling confident in the weapons you use is completely true for me. I've tried both sticking it out with one weapons, as constantly switching can prove to be just as inconsistent, and switching to meta weapons. The biggest frustrating part for me though is it doesn't always feel like it's a connection issue. It doesn't feel like the other person or myself is lagging, no delayed damaged, ghost bullets, or any of the other obvious signs of a connection issue. I don't know if it's just a matter of the other player is better than me. The other problem is the maps. A lot of players know how to exploit the spawns, this is especially pronounced when playing against a group of players. On top of a lot of these maps being designed for 4v4 and not 6v6. And then there's dead cliffs on control, which is so broken that of you spawn in at A you may as well not bother if your up against a coordinated team as they can trap you in that spawn and that spawn is just big enough that you can rush into and keep the team spawning their and farm easy kills.
