I have grown so damned tired of getting spawn camped, getting run by the super train, getting shot out of my super instantly, fully charged fusion rifle shots taking half a shield down, getting shot through walls. Here's a typical match: Get shotgunned Respawn, fire 20-30 marshmallows, get sniped from somewhere. God knows from where. Respawn. Supers are up! Get spectral-bladed Respawn Get titan slammed Respawn Get titan slammed again Respawn Oops, you're spawntrapped by someone with Mountaintop. Unlucky for you! DIE Repspawn Still trapped. DIE. Oh, hey, my super is up! Let's pop it! Pop it - get taken out of it by Breakneck (???) DIE. Rinse and repeat for ten minutes. In all seriousness, I would rather get white gloved in a rectal exam then play this abortion of a multiplayer. And then to tie quests to Crucible...man, forget it. Who even has the time or energy. Many of us have families and jobs. We simply do not have the time to sit around and grind this crap out. But then hey, there's a shiny new weapon and you want to give it a try I will add some thoughts about Gambit. The idea that the invader can come into the other side WITH an overshield is just patently absurd. That's the absolute dumbest thing I have ever heard. If you want to risk coming into the other side, fine, but you don't get a shield buff. Are you kidding? OR, turn off the invader spam. If an invader comes in and stays the entire 30 seconds, it's about 10 seconds before the next invader comes. It's -blam!-. It so DEMORALIZING to get your Primevil down to low heath and then have all that work instantly erased in a heartbeat by some with an overshield and super and basically invincible. I'm at the point I just don't care anymore. And then to add insult to injury, not including the Eris Monn pre-order stuff to the standard expansion. Most everyone ALREADY has everything up to Shadowkeep, but you punish your existing player-base by offering exclusives ONLY to people who buy the whole game? BULLSHIT.

Well, I’ll say this, and the hater can throw a tantrum all they like, but in Crucible currently , majority of people are afraid of a gun fight.

I honestly think PvP needs to be dropped harder than a sack of spuds. Made into a side activity with absolutely no purpose for the game other than just being there for players to kill each other with unbalanced gear for funsies when not doing the PvE content, something that Bungie are better at. If you are going to defend PvP, remember that D2 was made to try and get Destiny into the eSport market with 4v4 teams, maps and game modes and, well, you all know how that went. Destiny 3 needs to go in the complete opposite direction and became a PvE-oriented game, like a true Action MMO, which will immediately squish all (if not most) of the problems we currently have with the PvE portion.

I have some proposals for PvP Comp mode: 1. Dedicated servers; 2. Anti-cheat bot, anti-carry and anti-recovery actions (aka no more carry/recovery services and the good old ban hammer); 3. Only specific weapons to be used each week in competitive (everybody should have access to them - then the real skill will shine); 4. No more weapon rewards ("rich to get richer" is the best way to alienate people) - cosmetics should be good enough for every good player;

I play solo and I've been on a massive losing streak and seen my kd go down everyday. It's not fun anymore.

Honestly comp is my biggest gripe. I've never felt more reluctant to play a pvp game. And usually they can be fun. But in destiny I see one YouTube video like cammy cakes talking about jotün and all of a sudden everyone and their grandma needs it. I hate metas it's really cheap. I still remember the stupid luna meta. That was by far the top reason I hated destiny for the longest time. And now that its nerfed recluse is creeping its ugly barrel into pvp. When I went into comp originally for luna every step was annoying but fair, reaching fabled though is a gamble. You're either stomped or stomping the enemy team. I went from heroic 1 back to guardian 3. How is this even okay? Dont say that this is how comp is supposed to be played. I play overwatch comp and it feels fair. This feels unbalanced and frustrating. It doesn't help bungie sees fabled as a way to shove in whatever op pve/pvp gun they come up with into that rank and have cheaters/youtubers get it day one and have the poor folks like us suffer for hours to days on end trying to solo que or deal with goldly players. Oh did I mention I was kicked THREE TIMES from comp because of destiny claiming I had no wifi? Yep! Lost progress from comp! And then i got a suspension. Thank you bungie. You really care about your community... I've never been more frustrated, I was so close to my recluse, my team promised to help only to never show up. So I checked lfg on xbox, literally flooding with pay carries or be good/I'll kick you posts. It's a miracle I actually got revoker within a week of grinding. Heres a suggestion bungie (fabled warriors will probably be mad) Give each pinnacle weapon from the previous seasons the redrix treatment. That way everyone can earn the guns and pvp will be less of a pain. You can rename the gun too and the people who earned the original guns like lunas gets the new version day one from packages. For example: lunas growl Quest steps: reach brave in valor Step 2: get 100 hand cannon kills Step 3: get 200 solar kills Step 4: play 25 matches of quickplay 25 matches of comp 25 matches of rumble Step 5: get 100 headshot kills Step 6: get 50 double kills, handcannon percision kills are worth more points Step 8: reset your valor 5 times within a season Step 9: talk to shaax to receive your lunas growl. This way everyone can get the guns they want, heck throw in an emblem or unique shaders/skins for lunas howl and recluse for the original guns. There was two youtubers I watched that explained how they feel about the pinnacle guns. I'll quote one while leaving the links here for you to hopefully watch. "The richer get richer while the poor get poorer" unfortunately i forgot which youtuber said it and oh how this is so true. People like me deal with solo que and rage quitters all the time after losses in comp. So maybe heres one last idea, implement a protection system/lock system. I just for the life of me cannot, do not and will never understand this matchmaking system. Why oh why does a "balanced game" typically always involve teams stacked like this.. My Team: KD fodder with maybe 1-2 decent players Enemy team: 6 hyper unbroken meta tryhards high on Gfuel, Redbull and poptart dust. Even when there is no teams and it's 12 solo players, it still matches like this. Heck, when you play 3 hour of Iron Banner and over 30 matches end in you getting Mercy Ruled in 20 seconds... wtf?

Dedicated servers. If Bungie used dedicated servers, PvP experience would vastly improve. The sheer frustration of being matched with a random ping is only matched by my pea brain wanting to grind through virtual rewards I won't use. Yesterday, I was DOS'd three times in five matches of Gambit, leading to a warning of disconnections. That should never be allowed to happen.

But I simply don’t play it very often because it’s broken and doesn’t function properly. I play a couple games, and am so enraged at the end, I’m forced to turn it off to keep my sanity. Hell, there are even instructional video from streamers that tell people, for comp help, “Turn it off when you get too frustrated!!!” I don’t think there is any way to save it, but I’d love for BUNGIE to prove me wrong. Sadly this will be the first since D1 day 1 that I will be waiting for reviews before I pick up Shadowkeep.
