All these neck beards talking about not wanting it... so dumb. If you have a fire team to play with why do you give AF? Those of us who don’t would like match making even if the chances we fail are higher.

Because then the random, underlevel blueberries will whine that it's "too hard" and they'll get the activity nerfed just like the first mission of the game
-
They wan't the ability to go nananana look what I have. How else would they validate there life.
-
People like to play gate keeper matchmaking moves them out the way they don't like that idea.
-
Well the answer is pretty simple, most of us are not looking forward to the flood of complaining that would come to the forums because your team's keep getting kicked to orbit, since extinguish is always on and you are basically going to be 20 under (at least for the boss fight). We then also don't care to see the tons of posts from people yelling about no one knowing what to do, sucking at the game, and so on.
-
Gtfo the hard cores cry more than anyone.
-
They really don't, the vast majority of complaint posts have always been about making things easier. In fact the most I usually see hardcore complaints is after there has been a bunch of complaints about things being to hard, and then said things being changed to be made easier. Other than that the hardcore players don't typically make complaint posts. In fact they are probably complained about more than they actually complain.
-
YOU just posted an assumption and no facts. WTF are you talking about people would start whining? You mean like the hardcore -blam!- about niobe labs or how the -blam!- about worlds first raids? try that shitty excuses somewhere else.
-
Pretty sure it was not the hardcore complaining about how hard and not inclusive Niobe labs was, and pretty sure it isnt the hardcore that complain they can't participate in the raid day 1. You seem to be totally confusing groups of people here. And the evidence is right there basically every single time a difficult activity is made. Then you even have the fact that people complain about teammates they get in everything from crucible and strikes, to public events. So sure it is an assumption, but it is an assumption with a pile of evidence behind it. You really think people wouldn't start running to the forums to complain after getting kicked to orbit for the 5th, 10th, even 20th time?
-
Hardcore's whined about niobe because it was literally near unsolvable (I believe one of the clues was missing too) The only hardcore players whining about worlds first were the ones that had to work that day and wanted bungie to fit their schedule. One was understandable, the other was not
-
What about all the people that complained that tier 3 reckoning was too hard with matchmaking?
-
Then don't read them.
-
It's not about me not reading them, it is about people like Bungie not reading them. It wouldn't be the first time that a large number of complaints came in about something being to hard, and so it was changed. Not saying this is always the wrong thing to do, but it is not always the right thing to do either. The issue is that the potential to mess the whole thing up is still there.

Because you CAN fail this. Especially at 770 light you matchmake with two blueberries at 730 and ye done for
-
You can fail everything in this game. Next?
-
Menagerie is IMPOSSIBLE to fail lol
-
Not normal menagerie lol. It's literally unfailable
-
Simple solution to that. MAKE it require you to be 750 and or complete the menagerie a few times.
