Have you tried a raid with LFG? That alone will help you understand how important communication is in these types of events

Yes. I have every one of them except for keeping three havens alive in Mockery and that's only because of teammate's light levels. Sticking a minimum light level requirement on Heroic and letting me run with matchmade 750s would be fine by me.

Legit tho, I'm happy you actually got that done with randos. I wish the same could happen for me😪 I still stand with my opinion. Not so much with Heroic Menagerie, but in general. These kinds of posts annoy me because it never seems like they've tried to LFG. Unless they did, then I would just encourage them to use LFG. Anyway. You're right, you blew my case wide open. As far as I can tell, most people still playing the game after the last few awful seasons have some idea of how to play. I expect it's more a case of yourself being unlucky with randoms as opposed to me being particularly lucky. But yeah, there's no mechanical difficulty in the Menagerie, it's all level based and whilst I can see myself being booted to orbit and wishing a teammate would use tether or a Saint 14 bubble when Bungie decides that Blackout and The Hunted/Riposte are a good combo, I'd rather take my chances than have to deal with the typical LFG crowd.

I get what your saying, but that's why it's Optional, no one has to do anything they don't want to. You can form your own team, you can have a team matchmade, you can go it solo, or go the LFG route. Options are nice.

I'm just sure that randoms will certainly not accomplish the goal for you, I promise you. I'm so against it because there's a skill difference. Sometimes, not even LFG groups work. So how do you think randoms will fare? Also, let me clarify. I'm not saying that randoms cant complete it. I'm just saying that the run-through will be pointless if you didnt grab those imperials from those triumphs associated with the Menagerie.

Of course there will be bad encounters and failures, but that's for people to find out on there own, and then they can go other routes like forming a team themselves or LFG or whatever. But without being given the option, no one will ever know what successes or failures will ensue. Are you talking about the team completion requirements for triumphs to get imperials? That's where that would be up to the individual to organize a team to get those, if that's what you meant. Just to let you know, Imperials become obsolete after you have perfected the chalice, (got 3 nodes left myself) then the only thing that matters is runes at that point.

Not everything is going to be better matchmade. Raids would be terrible matchmade. The Menagerie has already lost its worth for me matchmade because randoms are not going to get the triumphs that award imperials. Have you tried to LFG? If you haven't, why are you so against it? Even if you dont have a mic, you would still set yourself up for much greater success than not. By the way, I do mostly play solo. Quests and stuff like that, I do solo. I dont need a team, and finding a team could be tedious. But I really only LFG for the raids and stuff like this because some people just aren't as good as the event requires guardians to be. No shame in that. If you dont want to LFG in a social game, then maybe Destiny isnt the best fit. There'll still be plenty of things to do for solos, but these kind of things [i]will not[/i]change anytime soon. Especially if you answer like that to my post.
