Why do you keep trying to balance Legendaries and Exotics? “This change was done to move Legendary Fusion Rifles a little closer to the Exotics as the gap between them was quite large, at least in PvE.” If Legendaries perform like Exotics, the Exotics aren’t really Exotic anymore. The whole point to Exotics is the superior performance over other weapons, but you keep Nerfing Exotics, and increasing Legendaries. There are so many Exotics that suck in this game because you keep making Legendaries that out perform if not perform at the same level as the Exotic counterpart. Example: Suros Regime sucks compared to Breakneck.

 •
The whole point to Exotics is the superior performance over other weapons, but you keep Nerfing Exotics, and increasing Legendaries.
As much as I would like to agree with this, it's actually not the whole point of why exotics were created and they shouldn't be superior to everything in this game. If they were no one would use any other weapons or gear. Look at PvP and what hand cannons are used the most? because gamers will (always) go to the next go-to. That alone should tell anyone something is not right with this picture making only a hand full of weapons outperform hundreds of others whether they are exotics or not. Exotics were created to be unique and powerful in D1 that they were the most sought out weapons in D1 y1 until things popped up like pre-nerf Fatebrenfer, Black Hammer, etc... that were not exotics that performed well over most, but they were not the most used like pre-nerf Icebreaker, Soros regime, Ghorn, Truth, NL, LW, Thorne that were used a lot. That is what this game is missing when it comes to creating weapons, meaning the variety. Look at Suros Regime now? it's a PO... that no one gives a crap about it anymore. Or, how many gamers do you see using Mida multi-tool today? Bungie's huge problem is not making thing powerful, their problem is keeping things up to par to compete with other weapons giving that variety with both exotics and legendary weapons and besides that, the uniqueness when it comes to exotics aren't there like Touch of Malice that is a unique weapon. That's what's missing from D2.

 • I agree with ya on that legendaries should be strong and a of course a great thing considering you are mostly decked out in them but when you put on an exotic weapon or armor and can only have one of each on in thier respective slots they should be op as hell if they aren't OP then why are they so rare and why only be able to equip one armor piece and one weapon why not let us deck ourselves out in full exotics

 • Are you really complaining about a buff? Exotics shouldn’t always just be stronger, just be viable and unique.

 • If that’s what you want to take away from my comment, then guess so. Whole point is they are making Exotics less viable and unique. At this point, I don’t see why we can only equip 1 exotic weapon at a time, when Pinnacle and Legendaries weapons out perform about half the Exotics out there.
