I've decided since Bungie, meaning the higher-ups only care about themselves and not the best interest for this game and players base. Your next "Annual Pass" isn't going to be worth buying at all because of the lack of respect and effort that has been put into this game. Most know with these weekly updates even the replies that are legit, the ones that really care about the game goes into this... https://giphy.com/gifs/paidoff-trutv-paid-off-po111-2nhipZ1StKWefMFhYh I have watched over the last 2 years on how much legit feedback has actually been ignored in spite of the negative feedback and what was the higher-up's solution? a "community summit" knowing most can care less about people that make a living trying to get others to subscribe. Your player base makes the game, not streamers and without the average gamer, Bungie would literally be nothing. Even this reply I made will go into that shredder because the higher-ups don't give a flying hoot about the game or player base, and that is a straight out fact. I can easily prove it right now and this is a fact. D3 is being created and not 1 single time has Bungie bothered to have the respect to involve the player base in it as they didn't in D2 and look at what actually happened to the base game and where things are now?
Let's see, The base game turned out to be a mess and Bungie spent an entire year wasting time and resources bringing some of what D1 is into D2. They lost almost 80% of their player base the first couple months Then CoO was released and that made matter literally worse, Oh, and that is not including the XP throttling, using Tess as end-game content and another shady practice. Then because sales were not doing well with the base game, the price dropped 3 times with Bungie trying to play it off as if they were giving deals. Next, the base game was sold with the first 2 expansions half off.
So, with all this and yet to come, You think the community doesn't have the right to be toxic? Go ahead and keep ignoring your true fans, and that is not streames, because with this type of mentality Bungie's next Annual Pass will not sell well and neither will D3 because the higher-ups love to ignore legit feedback and do it their way. Edit: Here, I'll do Bungie a favor and help them out, it is really simple logic. For the love of whoever, (learn from D1 on what actually worked for the game) and apply it to D2 and D3. (Problem literally solved.) Edit: I installed the game last night and stupid things like loading into the tower over a year later that you end up spectating hasn't been fixed at all. it's part of why I won't buy the next Annual Pass. This stuff adds up and shows how much effort is being put into this game to fix things to get it running properly.

  • Have you ever noticed that Bungie only tend to reply to posts that praise them for something? I get that it's good to praise them for something well done, it really is, but they don't show that they're even looking at constructive criticism or any kind of criticism for that matter...

  • It's just an apreance to say I'm here a lot of the time. Bungie doesn't want feedback and even then, they have had an absurd amount of feedback since D1 released from here, Reddit, Twitter and wherever else they get their info from. Most of their attention is given to streamers and that is their downfall.

Nah, I recently talked to Cozmo. Don't know why this was a thing to bring up.

  • You can’t tell people that! My nephew recently was diagnosed with NEC. He’s been in and out for chemo, but he stays with me a lot when not in-patient. Back in February, we were looking for games. I told him I had a clan (before I gave it up), and he should play D2 with me. He laughed so hard. It was actually the first time I’d seen him laugh in months. So, there’s that.

  • Hey, if it cheered up your nephew whilst going through that crap It was worth the £150 Wish him well from all of us! 👍

  • Thanks! He’s a fighter, and he’s winning so far. Yeah. I guess he heard about D2. I even offered to buy it for him, and he wouldn’t take it.

  • im not a fanboy or anything but you guys say that bungie doesn't listen to the community but tbh you guys don't listen to them. For example, when trails was removed everybody hated that so bungie went and gave a reason on why they removed trails. When their was that whole crucible might not be in d3 or something like that bungie said something on stream that they had plans for crucible or something like that. when you guys said that the enchanment cores thing was a problem they added more ways to get them. But bungie does have its fair share of problems I'm not gonna lie. but can you at least give them time and stop tryna repeat the same thing over and over agian.

  • I get what you're saying, they do come out and say what's going on when enough people get riled up about something however for the most part they remain silent and still rely on their community summits for the streamers feedback rather than ours. Streamers may care about the game but the game is still part of their job, of course they're going to want it a certain way. For example, Datto always wants harder raids even though that means the tint fraction of people who complete raids gets smaller and smaller because it's not hard enough for HIM. Bungie came out and said they're assign ways to get enhancement cores but they called that thread a DISCUSSION and there isn't one being had at all. They tell everyone what's going to happen and leave the thread behind without saying a word. They ONLY talk to us when they're desperate, truly desperate. Remember the first Dawning event in D2 when Christopher Barrett said they'd communicate more and all that? Hahaha that went out the window real quick didn't it? People make excuses for that too and say the TWAB is their communication but we've always had a TWAB since D1. Sure it offers some communication but not alot, roadmaps and stuff are great and all but that's all we get aside from the next lot of nerfs coming every now and then. Notice as well Odin said it's the higher ups who don't care. I'm sure Cozmo cares, but they can only say so much, the creators can only do so much, and that's what they're told to do and say.

  •
For example, Datto always wants harder raids even though that means the tint fraction of people who complete raids gets smaller and smaller because it's not hard enough for HIM.
This is where Bungie messed up. They could create raids that are more of a challenge but add to D2 what D1 has and that is differnt mods. D1 had a hard mode/normal and it worked out fine for gamers that weren't all that good. Hell, Crota was the easiest raid and ran a lot. Not having the option like D1 changed things for many gamers.

  • Yeah I mean we got the prestige leviathan but not many ran even the normal leviathan to my knowledge...

  •
when you guys said that the enchanment cores thing was a problem they added more ways to get them.
I kind of got lost up until this. Okay, the way I look at it and this is a fact. The infusion on how it was set up prior to cores being used literally wasn't a problem at all but Bungie changed it and when they first introduced cores as part of the infusion? Spider was way overpriced, there were limited ways to collect them. (This was done deliberately) and some think Bungie didn't know what they were doing slowly adding ways to acquire them over time? It's a game Bungie has been playing with the player based since D1 and some try to use "they added more ways" and that is nothing but an excuse for both Bungie and whoever says "they are listening", when in fact that is false because no one asked for them to be part of the infusion at all. This was Bungie toying around as usual and it caused problems. This is where I'm going to ask you a question. Make a list on how adding cores as part of the infusion actually improved this game and has a benefit for the player base vs Motes of light that has a multi-purpose that actually improved D1? The reason I'm asking because I know I can come up with twice as much as you that would show why they are actually bad for the game and are literally a useless material.

  • Cores really made it difficult for people to get into the game. When you start with zero infusion becomes a chore and alienates people who don't play daily.

  • The sad thing is Bungie doesn't see that. I don't expect much to change either since there is a lack of loot and even then they turned most things into a long dragged out grind like the vanguard quest.

  • The only thing that keeps me from playing is the fact that over 95% of the people I played with stopped playing the game. I had a really good raid and PvP team but because of choices Bungie has made they all left and will most likely never come back. These where people who played all the way back to the D1 beta and up until Forsaken. Now even my casual freinds stopped playing because of things like the infusion system. No more trying raids day 1 or playing trials on the weekends. The things that made this game unique and enjoyable to me are pretty much gone now as a direct result of Bungie's poor decisions.

  • This has happened to a lot of gamers. As you said, the things that were unique about D1 is not in D2 that so much has changed from what D1 actually offered. I played Gambit prime tier 1 I think it's called, and when I dropped down into the pit and ended up on a crucible map, I was like WTH this. It's nonsense like that, that is running the experience of wanting to run certain events as well. If I wanted to play on a crucible map I'll go play crucible. I don't want to see crap like that in a new event that has nothing to do with crucible.

  • Maybe Bungie doesn't want to continue Destiny and is trying to kill it off
