Hey Bungie,
You announce nerfs and get over 6000 angry customer on the forum letting you know they think it’s a bad idea. A week later you announce your plans moving forward and a couple buffs and get 600 mostly apathetic replies.
If you use this as a loose barometer for your overall player base that’s about 90% that disapprove of your current announcements and direction. This doesn’t even include the many who have all ready left Destiny.
Since D2 release I’ve had two separate clans go from full and active to being dismantled. D1 was one raid group turned to clan that completely fell apart early in D2 because of the direction you tried to take the game.
How long are you going to continue in futility and throw away such great potential. Whom ever has the voice of direction for Destiny as a franchise, maybe it’s time for them to go.

Edited by NicktheSmoker: 6/3/2019 8:06:45 PMFor real. I was kind of excited for some new content tomorrow until I saw the raid is another -blam!-ing rehash of leviathan. Probably deleting this game if there's no new zone tomorrow. Last last last time I buy a bungie season pass...

Wow, this is very well formatted comment. Props.

Bump. My raid team turned clan mostly bailed too.

Streamers seem to love it! 😍 Those brave people. Bless their hearts....

I'm thinking it's a barometer for "people in this community are much better at whining than they are at appreciation". But we don't need a barometer to know that.
-
It also doesn't include the many who are quietly playing the game because they're happy with it.
-
There's no such thing as a "silent majority".
-
Didn't say majority but I think there probably is.
-
There isn't. To say that there is and that they support one side of an argument or another is preposterous at best and abject idiocy at worst. If there was an opinion expressed either way by such a majority, they would cease being a "silent" one and become a simple majority, thus defeating the whole purpose. The "silent majority" is a macguffin, a red herring. It is an ephemeral, opinionless being that fools point to in vain attempts to make it seem as though they have vast support when, in fact, they do not. I could counter any argument that utilizes the "silent majority" with my own "silent majority" and it would still be just as meaningless and just as stupid.

Or the millions that won't play and don't care to retype the same shit for the 8000 time why some bungie fan claims we never tell them what's wrong with there game when we dissatisfied
-
Based on player numbers, "many" is not a term that can be applied to haters, fanboys or those who have yet to decide. So while they're silently and happily playing, the game is haemorrhaging players.

You forgot that the forums are not an accurate representation of the community. It has been long known that this place is a whiner’s paradise, having lost all credibility with feedback. There’s a reason Bungie hardly ever says anything at all here. It should be pretty obvious these forums don’t mean shit. And they shouldn’t. The great feedback here is buried by incessant whining about things that hardly matter at all like it’s the worst thing ever.

The "great feedback" gets ignored by Bungie.
