Games are designed to keep you paying, not have fun.
They already have your season's pass money. They'll buff things when they need to sell you another DLC, and a few million of you morons will bite and say "SEE, BUNGIE IS LISTENING TO US! BEST COMPANY EVARRRRRR"
Meanwhile us people who have brains will be playing other games. This shit is a joke.

That cynical model only works when you are dealing with addicts....and you can monetize their addiction in ways that you can't in dealing with people who have a healthier relationship to the game. Like sub fees. 2. Ethical business is good business.....in the long term. The problem (again) is that Bungie is being poorly led....so 95% of what they do are short term "patches" and "workaround"....rather than true long-term solutions. Ethical business creates "brand loyalty". Bungie created that brand loyalty with Halo....and because of that many people were willing to try Destiny. They squandered a lot of that with D1. They squandered even MORE of it when they tried to essentially REBRAND the product with Destiny 2. ...and htey are now squandering the last of it with how they are dealing with Destiny 2 while they work on Destiny 3. At the rate their are going their may be so much HOSTILITY to the brand (see EA and Anthem) that there may not be a franchise by the time D3 is ready.

I feel your words @kellygreen2 i agreed with you on everything except 1 , Bungie has been milking the player base(the free vanila in the end of last year was show/cry for help) with this anual pass crap. And yes as og Bungie fan from The Halo Days i can say Bungie is no longer a top tier game company in my view in the sense that we players can not trust them at all, they have been single handed destroying this franchise also this company has shown that it DOES NOT KNOW what it is doing to this game and to its player base. I haven't officially quit i do have my beloved clan of friends but i don see another reason to keep this game installed, not anymore at least (last logged in May 6th)

Games ARE designed to keep you paying...but that SHOULD only happen when people are having fun. If people aren’t having fun, they should absolutely stop paying. At this point, that’s the only thing Bungie will understand.
