The nerf is justified because it’s. A problem when certain weapons and armor are a must or recommend for an activity to make it easily doable

By choosing to use them players are voting that they like using them. If Bungie is just nerfing them to have control over the game with, counter to how the players enjoy playing, they are just running off more players.
