I don't think this is that big a deal. TTK goes up a bit. If the recoil is the same then I don't see it killing a whole lot less and now it opens up a slot for me to try something else without feeling I'm letting my team down.

It also completely kills it's ability to take down supers with the magnificent howl not increasing precision damage. You used to be able to proc howl and keep landing crits for the kill. Also, I used the gun in PvE a ton and without the increased crit damage it's killed it.

I think they'll lower damage resistance in supers when they do the nerf and increase the skill gap.
