I can understand the change to Mag howl damage, but changing to a 150?
You’re making a big mistake and I guarantee this will be the last straw for a lot of dedicated players, myself included who worked their butt off to get their NF.
This change in particular is crapping on ALL console players where bloom on HC’s is a big issue.
Bad, bad move.

There is no variety in the crucible; all they have is quickplay or comp. Comp is dreadful no one plays it for fun. So the only thing 'committed' players have if they want to have fun is play quickplay. You can't even get enhanced perks from Iron Banner, Competitive and Quickplay. If there are new maps coming out in rotation that promote other weapons types like scouts and if trials came back the variety of the pvp playlist, in general, will promote more variety in weapons used. Think about it. If adept weapons come back and more powerful perks introduced into random roll weapons, luck in the chamber for instance, then Luna and Not Forgotten would not have been a scapegoat for the lack of variety. The devs need to pay more attention to the pvp community that's the problem. Bungie gives way more attention to pve than pvp. The last 3 season heavily revolved around pve and gambit nothing new came out for crucible other then pinnacle weapons.

I can’t wait for Luna’s/NF to STILL dominate on console because they’ll continue to be the only precision HCs free from bloom/ghost bullets

Edited by Dano2point0: 4/25/2019 11:54:46 PMBut it's still a Precision frame. That's going to make them Super easy to use and consistent.

3 RepliesI’m not leaving.

5 RepliesWho cares? Go away. It is because of the "committed players" that this game hasn't evolve in 2 years. It got a little funnier, but it's the same old stuff over and over again. Committed players have time to grind for enhancement cores, not casual players. Committed players have time to grind for meta guns. Not casuals. But, what is the real percentage of committed players within the Destiny community?
-
I feel better knowing that I cared more about the fact that I even got it vs how it actually is. Because I barely use it. Trophies don't need to be broken ass weapons. Just like how some of the most mundane were trophies on their own right. OG supremacy, Khovostov, Traveler's Chosen (at 10 power).
-
Destiny has more than 500 k daily players, pretty sure they won’t notice the 3 to 5 k of you that might potentially leave (yet still sit on the forums complaining).
-
Might just bring as many back though.
-
Oh ouch ! I feel yah ,lots of DV's ,but it looks like the community in here at least doesn't agree .

6 RepliesFinally the most OP broken and easy to use guns with not recoil at all will be nerf. For the record i got my Lunas months ago as a solo player playing 100% solo matches but the Luna + NF meta is really boring to me and i leaved Destiny 2 for that reason about 02 months ago. I hope the Crucible return to be fun place again with more variety. In other hand the abuse of high skills players with Luna or NF to noobs or far less skills players that have no means to compete with those guns will stop.

I don’t think they want the toxic asshats that love the gun that much to stick around

Once all the anger dies down, people will begin to realise that the pinnacle reward wasn't the gun, but the friends they made along the way... /s. Personal opinion piece :- Maybe it's just I'm a couple years older than the average gamer and/or remember the ancients, but I never really needed a big stupid reward in order to enjoy my gaming. You punch your quarter into the machine just to play a quarter's worth of ninja turtles side-scrolling fun (I cringe now, but it was the bees nuts for little me.) I put soo much time into NES ninja gaiden, only to wipe it all and start again after dinner time. No saves, no regrets. There was no Donatello's howl, or whatever that kept you at the grind stone. Further opinion:- There should not be varying weapon strengths in a pvp environment. If you are facing vs another human, it should be skill - never equipment - that determines the winner. Destiny will never have this. The term "Competitive Destiny" is easily the biggest oxymoron in gaming.

6 Replies"committed player base" you mean the people stacking into QP with Dust Rock, LH/NF, and Wardcliff? Good Riddance.

9 RepliesIn other related news, paid recoveries are down by 40%. Rents will be late. Pornhub subscriptions will be cancelled.

Edited by loudenkl: 4/27/2019 4:15:02 PMSo you have to play PvP to be considered a part of the "committed player base"? That's truly funny considering that Destiny is not a PvP focused title regardless of what you believe.

1 ReplyAre they though? Are they REALLY? Lunas was only an issue in quick play because the vast majority of that player base is just in there for fun. People run around with bows and vestian dynastys and just want their engram for the day. And in every game there's always a couple sweaties on the other team with the meta load out who wind up going 40-1. Now, what happens if you with your Luna's quit? Literally nobody will care. Those people who just screw around in quick play might be able to have some balanced matches and may actually play more games. So now maybe instead of just playing his 5 a week and being done maybe now he plays it for fun. So to quote my main man Shrek "Bye bye. See ya later"

1 ReplyStill using bygones having no problems enjoying myself

2 RepliesBringing Luna into the game pushed a lot of people away and only catered to sweaty players. You can’t only cater to one genre of players

5 RepliesI find it sad but funny when you poor pvp get a gun you like nerfed. Lol how about all ya -blam!- about jotunn etc etc. shut up you pvp whiners have ruined so many guns not to mention everything else
-
56 RepliesPve centered weapons get nerfed due to pvp imbalance: "dude just adapt man its easy. Pvp centered weapons get nerfed due to pvp imbalance: "YOU'RE RUINING THE GAME BUNGIE I'M QUITING I'M QUITING I'M QUITING!!!!11". The freaking irony.

60 RepliesLol @ people getting mad at this nerf. Why the hell are you playing a looter shooter, from BUNGIE out of all devs, if the nerf of literally 2 guns out of 480 is going to "push you away" from the game to the point of not even playing it? Just use another gun. There are plenty of fast TTK weapons out there. "But muh bungie doesn't respect my time and effort!!!" Well duh, you should've gotten used to this theme by now with the enhancement core misery, the constant power cap raises to further pad out playtime and frustrate players with forcing them to chase an arbitrary number, and the despicable, utter low effort nothing they release with every "content" drop. Of course, I'm not saying that this is necessarily the direction that they are supposed to go in, changing it to a 150 and everything, but come on....2 guns? All these 2 guns were, are dick expansions. Everyone was flailing it around saying they worked for it, and that it's "Muh achievement", but honestly, it's just 2 more handcannons, with "I got a big e-penis" decal'd on their sides. No sane person cared about somebody else having it, and the sensible ones just said "gj" and carried on. "Hurr, you're just a troll account, I stalked you through and through!" https://destinytracker.com/d2/profile/pc/Indigo-21980 There you go pumpkin.

I don’t have either weapon and I still don’t want to see anything nerfed #KeepPinnacleWeaponsPinnacle

1 ReplyEdited by Argentus: 4/26/2019 6:51:51 AM„I don't think nerfing the pinnacle weapons is the way to go, not when players have put in a ton of effort to pick them up.” So, Bungie you go down !!!!!
-
2 RepliesI will never get these guns but understand the effort put in to get them and the need for them to not to be nerfed. When we play against them it inspires us to be better and try to counter these weapons. You just don’t get it and you don’t know your own game( vex on tangled shore) or your community. Time to shelve destiny, this is just pure incompetence and you are the guy eating popcorn in the movie theatre and farting very loudly....Stop annoying us Bungie.
-
2 RepliesI hate to be the bearer of some logical news but all these people supporting this nerf seems to have forgotten how trash nerfing has been in all of Destiny. Destiny 1 neared many weapons into the ground and while they seemed good on the surface with numbers it ended up trashing the weapons and abilities it nerfed. I thought I remembered Bungie saying with Forsaken they were going to stop with a bunch of nerfs because it does nothing but hinder player enjoyment. Let me ask you all something else as well do you guys notice that this is basically history repeating itself. Bungie said back in D1 they weren't gonna nerf so much and look what happened it led us right into the sorry state of D2 y1, cause right now we can see the signs the constant nerf post, shotgun warriors being attacked for using a gun, roaming supers being asked to be nerfed, exotics getting canned in the wake of nerfs leading to exotics that didn't get a single change being brought into the lime lite to be used and then in turn be called OP. This is history repeating itself yet again and until the majority of the community and Bungie realize this, this game and this franchise will never be as good as it once was again.

1 ReplyEdited by Sneak Attack 65: 4/28/2019 7:01:44 AMYou have to remember that they're going to be the first precision frame 150s, so there's still every chance that they won't suffer the same recoil and bloom problems as your typical 150.
