Typical Bungie giving in to the crybabies that dont even care about crucible or take the time to get good. So many lazy bad players in this game and that is who bungo listens to. Truly the greatest idiots when it comes to knowing who actually plays this game. They win at chasing all of them away

Bungie is not a charity, if your business model for yourself is to let 10% of your customers Chase away the other 90% , then by all means do that , you do you man .. if the 10-15% elites say F it I'm out and leave , the 85 to 90% left will keep playing and the future has promise.. Now if the player base had declined by 30-45% on the casual side , that could mean catastrophe for the D3 launch and the future of the company..

if you actually tried to get the gun you might actually get good at using a hand cannon instead of being afraid of it.

At the beginning of the season I solo queue myself all the way to 1900 in about 4 hours , hit a string of bad matches and went backwards , I made a second run again last week , made it to 1700 and then backslid For me , I want to do it solo, I don't want to be carried , I have guys in my clan that have been carried all the way to legend and have everything .. one of the guys , became a total dirtbag after .. I don't even speak to him anymore and we where tight , because suddenly he's better than me and telling me who I can play PvP with and who I can't , so that us non LH NF owners don't drag down real PVP players stats

If you actually did that you wouldn't have replied to my post like that. Not all gamers that get the guns are dirtbags like your friends. I have made a lot of friends and have played and learned from some of the best. It is one of the greatest things to do is to continually improve at pvp. For me the journey was hard fought on both of my gamertags and a few friends. Perhaps you need a better clan and group of friends. If you were good enough to do all that you might just appreciate a good hand cannon and skill but the reviews are mixed here.

And as far as me , well I'm a captain in the US Merchant marines .. that means I'm at sea for six weeks at a time , I work 15 hours a day , 7 days a week and I love my career .. I just like gaming when I can , gaming is a perishable skill , sometimes takes a few days to get back up to speed .. but that's my cross to bear and I don't hold it against those who can play daily , and even if I never get these weapons , I'm cool with it , at least I tried , I got close as I could with the the time that i had and I did it honestly

Well that is an awesome job and it is incredible that you do it. For a true pvp player it is great to have the guns but it is the journey and work you put in that makes it even more meaningful. Personally it is the only thing in this game worth grinding for. I just don't like seeing the game go to no skill weapons like spray and pray or explosives in every slot. I look for good gun battle. Like now I just finished getting the recluse wins in Iron Banner where I was 660 but still won the majority of my games and went well over even. It feels good and I am proud of myself. But then I never compete with anyone but myself; always striving to get better

Absolutely man , I did do trials , had a few flawless tickets in D1 but sadly in D2 I only show 13 wins and 1 flawless , just it was gone before I could really play .. I posted yesterday somewhere that part of the issue with these weapons is the " now what " once you get then , now what ? I know they eliminated trials , there is alot of speculation on why, but what I think would be cool, is have a PvP seasons that runs parallel to PVE .. you must have pinniccle weapons tho to compete.. and each week there are challenges for those dedicated PvP players , meet the goals and bungie extends and invitation to the next week , kind of a king of the hill.. with leaderboards and stuff , untill the final week of the season there are only a hand full if players left , bungie can reach out to them and make sure that they will be available to participate, help compensate for time off work , etc and then broadcast the final few rounds on twitch like a tournament , winner gets crowned .. players would flock to it

I could care less about the acolades. I loved the teamwork in trials and how awesome it was to use strategy to win. You can't find that anywhere else in this game and it died with trials. There were so many awesome moments Bungie has no clue about and never will. That is why i think they are idiots and I don't care what they do this game is trash because if they were stupid enough to remove trials for pvp players they just don't get it and never will.

Yeah , trials was great .. they are not being forthcoming about why they scrapped it .. there must be something very extreme to cause them to abandon it.. Because they have to be aware of how popular it was in D1 and how it drove the game to stardom .. it's got to be more than them just worried about bad PR caused by cheaters , I know there was some issues with paid carry services, shoot i saw an ad on destiny tracker for LH recovery for 650 so there must be a market for that , and comp is still around.. They should just tell us the truth , might be hard to swallow , but I'd rather know .

I replied to your post , to highlight that bungie is probably making moves in and attempt to retain player base , because they need an engaged player base to sell D3 too .. if not , if D3 sales slump by 80% that means financial ruin .. I did not ever disparage the guns or the skill to aquire them ..

Unfortunately, the choices Bungie is making are pissing off and turning off more players and by that alone they will not get these people to keep playing a broke game let alone buy a new season pass or game. They are dead in the water as we speak. I won't buy anything more. They burned to many bridges with me.

It might seem silly, but bungie should have jumped on the FTP battle Royale wagon , they have patrol zones from D1 they could use , farm the whole thing out to epic or respawn to operate for a cut in the microtransactions .. I'm sure millions of people would download and play just because it's free. Titanfall is seeing a surge in sales and interest because of Apex ..

Yeah man , I get how you feel, I'd probably feel the same .. I have a feeling that the split with Activision is gunna be a bumpy road for them, they cannot stay the course because they are using thier own capital now to both develop , produce and market .. no doubt in my mind that the financial team has sat down and figured out a current D3 cost analysis and compared that with current player population and weighed it against how many units they will need to sell to break even , I'm positive that they want to stay a private company , so they don't have to deal with shareholder heartache and IPO's and SEC quarterly reports .. so time will tell, I won't pre order D3 , and if B3 turns out as good as advertised, I might not venture into D3 untill I'm done with it .

Half ? Really think we should look back , I think the stats where somewhere around only 2-3 % of the player base had LH and even less had NF and that was six months ago , I'm sure it's gone up , but it's still 10% or less...it feels like alot more , because that makes up probably half of the player base now .. So is there some sort of exchange rate for gamers ? Like casual gamers money is worth 10 cents on the dollar and hardcore players money is worth like 5 to 1 , is that how bungie plans to hit payroll ?

Just because you are afraid to learn how to be good with a hand cannon doesn't give you the right to cry and moan because you get killed by it. Get good. Try. If not you are not a true crucible player and we should not have to dumb down the meta to compensate for your lack of skill. I happen to like the ability to work on skill and craft and not just focus on cheap thrills with no skill. Go play boring pve against ai and tell me how good you are. And for god sakes stop crying and work at something you may just like

That is flawed as hell and obviously you never played trials. When trials were out there were so many people streaming and watching trials. Streamers and good players helping others go flawless and get better at the game. Destiny at the time was on the top of the twitch ranks EVERY week and when they pulled trials Destiny is now in the so far down you can't find them region of twitch. Very few people are streaming this dead game. In addition, pve players that stream like glad are watched and followed by many that don't even play the game. When they removed Trials they lost a huge number of good and solid pvp players and now they are trying to get rid of the rest. Total idiots. This game is dying and they will only acknowledge it when it is dead because they continue to make stupid decisions where pvp is concerned
