I haven't stepped foot into QP since 2019 began. Never understood people who enjoyed killing everybody with Luna/NF. They did it to themselves. QP used to be so fun and laid back. Its arguably worse than Comp. They earned the upcoming nerf

Okay, lets start this by saying that im a PC Player and got to 2100 multiple Times. I never made it to Legend, so i dont have Not Forgotten. From my expieriences across multiple seasons i can say, that competitive matchmaking is already pretty bad and the population is very low, leading to playing agianst the same people multiple times in a row. From what i have heard, most of the players are just playing competitive to get Lunas Howl/Mountaintop/Recluse and some may even try for Not Forgotten. Except for some of the Die-Hard PvP Players who play competitive for fun and competing their skills with others, most of the people just want the rewards. So what point is it in nerfing those rewards till they arent viable no more? A Kindled Orchid with Killclip or Rampage can do the same thing that the updated Luna/Nf can. I have some friends who play on console as well, and from what ive heard from them and from what ive seen on current statistics, 180RPM Handcannons, especially Luna and NF, are the only viable archtype on Console. They have very high aim assist and are very easy to use, leading to players abusing the sh*t out of these weapons. The ease of use and the fast time to kill leads to those weapons beeing the most used weapons on console, in other words, the meta on console consists of nothing but luna/NF. On PC, its a different story tho. The weapons are very hard to get and only few people have them. The whole sandbox/meta is somewhat different than the console meta.On PC, the Handcannons are very hard to use and require a high amount of skill to be successful and maintain that very low TTK of .66 seconds (3 Tap+Magnificent Howl/.33 sec Two Tap TTK). It has little aim-assist and requires the player to pace and land its shots. If you miss one shot, the Luna/NF isnt any different from other 180RPM weapons, because its the weapons perk that makes it so strong and dominant, and without the perk it would just be another 180RPM Handcannon. I have some friends with NF, some of them are Top 500 Players and ive already spoken with some of them on their thoughts. The Problem is, that with those upcoming changes, those weapons arent woth anything. They will just be another 150RPM HC with high stability and a slightly faster time to kill than other 150RPMs. They say that NF/Luna wont even be worth going after, which would lower the already pretty low comp population even more, since there is no real reason to go after those rewards anymore. To all those saying that there was a change needed cause on console, those weapons are the only ones viable: I know that those weapons are OP and easy to use, i also think that they need to be adjusted at some point, i just think that the descision Bungie made with changing the Archtype is not the right way to balance those weapons. If i watch my friend play D2 PvP on Console, i see him sticking to peoples heads all the time, letting the auto-aim do all the work and come out of the match as a top-fragger with the most kills, even tho he barely did anything. When I use Luna on PC tho, it requires extreme skill and precision to end the round succesfull. When I look at the most used weapons on PC and compare them with most used on console, i can clearly see that there are big differences. When i compare D2 PvP on PC to PvP on Console, i just notice that the game playes very different altogether. You could even say that you are playing on 2 different sandboxes. And that is exactly what im getting at. This balance change may be reasonable on Console, it definitly isnt on PC. The main reason being the high recoil of other handcannons(its called bloom, correct me if im wrong) and the auto-aim, if we talk about NF/Luna in perticular. If you Look at the statistics, Ace of spades Takes up 57% of Competitive kills, Luna takes 10% and NF Doesnt even make it in the Top 5. so i cant see there beeing an issue with those guns on PC. Thus, i suggest, as one alternetive balance option, to splitt the sandboxes apart and have each sandbox have their own balance changes. This would take very high effort and i cant see bungie doing anything like this in the near future. Another option, would be to lower the aim-assist just on console, making it harder to use and actually taking skill to be successfull with. This would lead to the sandboxes beeing tuned differently without splitting them apart. Im writing this at 2am in the morning and i cant really come up with any other changes as of right now, feel free to add your ideas in the comments. (Edit: If you think about it, this will make the Luna/NF not special anymore, you could even say that it isnt a pinnacle. The Time To Kill is the same as other 150RPM Handcannons, u just require 2crit 1body to kill instead of 3crit.This wont really make a difference, because people that are good enough to earn Luna/NF are probably good enough to 3crit anyways, meaning the perk is pretty useless.)

Maybe if you're on Console, on PC it's gonna get even worse. I've only use LH in Comp to grind NF quest and in QP because it's a fun gun to use, but if they make these nerfs pretty much everyone will go back to Ace, Thorn TLW/Reculse and stomp QP. What people forget is that you had to make 2 crits for the MH perk, with the guns above even players whith worse aim can perform better.

That's what pc gamers deserve for being so arrogant about their "godly pc masterrace". I jnow not everyone is like this but many are. If you don't want to get put with these players into the same box you should think about leaving the pc.
