I don’t want to come off as that guy... but I’m guessing you didn’t play D1? They’ve been doing the opposite of what they tell us and what we want for years and years now.

I honestly think most of us are holding onto the memories of D1. It was quite an amazing experience. D2 has had bright spots but it's such a shell of its predecessor.

I was so bored to death with repeating the same content for 7+ months just to level up to play Gambit that I quit the week after Season of the Drifter launched. Bungie can keep my $60 CDN, but never gets another dime out of me again. Screw them.

why should i stay and tough it out while they tell us they will fix it or change it? they already changed it to make the game pvp only. i bought destiny 2 for the pve aspect and campaign not to have pvp content shoved into my face season after season after season. i dont give 2 shits about pvp im not a try hard or a sweaty thats just not my bag of tricks. ill ome back in 3 months when penumbra drops to see if we get a story mission or campaign to play but im willing to bet itll just be more pvp BS

As far as[u]potential[/u] goes, this game has always had it. But after 5 years now just about, you have to realize even that is fading fast now. After 5 years, they’ve had more than enough time to get this game exactly where they wanted to, and this is what we get. Division does not have the “wow” factor, but their execution was damn near flawless coming out of the gate with their sequel. It’s a much, much better game currently imo. Anthem is the red headed stepchild. Might not even survive the year. In my estimation, it comes down to 1 company that deeply cares about the quality of their game and the input of their consumers (Massive) and 1 company that has the best idea theoretically but doesn’t care about making the best game possibly and constantly mismanages everything.

Your being in the military, likely is why you enjoy this game, let me explain. You likely work long hours, have a family, don't get as much time as the rest of us to play. This means you won't notice the glaring holes in this game as quickly as we do; but you will eventually. Take the annual pass as an example; Bungie didn't drip-feed us this content because it's what we wanted; they're doing it because it's all extremely thin and we'd blow through it in a weekend. Also, the crucible is horrible; you wouldn't know this if you only played enough a week to get your powerful reward; but those of us that are grinding for pinnacle weapons know. This game is for the casual - no doubt about it - they've even tried to artificially extend simple quests by adding meaningless grind, this only makes things more noticeable imo. This last DLC has to be a monster, or that's it for me, in not trying to trigger anyone but this have is a huge disappointment to me. Crazier still is we know they can do better because they have in Destiny 2; Forsaken was good, quality content, worthy of its price but once every 12 months is not even close to enough imo.

So much feedback lmao! Same people talking about the same shit everyday. These forums used to be fun an interesting about lore and wishlists. Posts full of VoG lore, best strategies, guides etc.. This game has been torn apart surgically by Bungie. D2 is and will never be equally good or better than D1, no matter what Bungie does. They should take the loss and focus on D3.

People that actually are enjoying the game are either on reddit or actually playing it instead of typing furiously into their keyboards like raving monkeys. Destiny 2 is a great game. Infusion is fine people just waste their cores, gambit prime is great, and crucible really isn't that bad people are just too stubborn to adjust their ape playstyle to deal with luna.
