A content creator/streamer needs exactly that content to stream. Extending the grind like you have and the changes that have taken place is what they require to do what they do. They do not give a proper representation of the majority of the player base. Cores are the prime example, the issue with powerful rewards dropping lower, all to extend the grind. Look at the feedback on the enhancement cores, the majority of the player base did not want it nor asked for it. But it extends the grind for the content creators/streamers.
More grind does not equate to more streaming and Destiny 2 getting noticed, if the majority of the player base walks away and less play it because of said changes and the forums certainly voice that feedback, then those content creators/streamers will see a drop in viewer ship in that said directory. Hence move to other games, I won't name the streamers, but the most prominent ones in the Destiny directory are playing Apex, Division 2 just to name a few right now.
I get that you and Cozmo just give the feedback and you both take the brunt of the flack in the forums and social media, but Bungie is no longer governed by Activision. Forsaken was a great step in the right direction, look at what feedback is hurting Destiny. Reddit & Bungie forums, Social media is where the majority of your player base is giving feedback, not the content creators/streamers. Sure some of it is nasty, some of it constructive. People love this game and want to see it continue to do well. Myself especially, I've played since Dark Below and I played through D2 Y1 in its darkest times believing the ship would right itself, Forsaken to me is that righting of the ship. But you seem to be altering course and not in a good way.
Just some constructive criticism from a loyal player (for the moment).
