Grind extender? lol, such nonsense. I never grind for cores I hardly visit spider, I never grab his bounty's still I have plenty of masterwork weapons, I have masterworked sets for each class and still my amount of cores is growing, now imagine if I would do daily spider and his bounty's I'd get more cores than I would ever use. So clearly you are doing something wrong.

 • Or you’re just so happy with the grind you don’t even notice it, which is... something. Takes all kinds, I guess.

 • As said there is no extra grind needed to have enough cores, just play the game and understand it.

 •
Lie... great that you know how I play.
He said sarcastically, while defending a post where he acts like he knows how others play.
and there are those that don't do such who have a problem with cores and start crying on the forums.
• Given how people complain about shortage of cores they clearly show to us that they are doing things wrong. Else they had enough.

 • I think there is a lot of assumptions being flung around and we all know what that does yes? I have to say that I manage my cores just fine and "infuse by the book" but I still don't think it's a good system. It is the system we have, sure, but I don't think it's wrong to look at a game and express what you feel is a flaw. I feel like masterworking is expensive and makes for a meaningful experience, but bringing your gear up to spec shouldn't require as many cores. We're being asked to play game modes that are high tier which (at least in my experience) needs properly assembled builds and there is a lot of joy grinding for the various bits and bobs needed to "perfect" the build you're working on. If you only have one style of gameplay no matter what mode you're in, there will be an abundance of leftover cores. If you like experimenting and trying new things, you still need to have that gear be as powerful as you can get and those costs add up pretty quickly over time. If all the available loops of gameplay suit you, I envy you very much but that is not the case for many players. It also doesn't take into account that there are people playing who don't have a ton of time to play but would still like to take part in the new shiny activities. I think we can also agree that after a time certain phrases take on an aspect of "git gud" mentality and while I have no doubt some use said phrases earnestly, many do not. That said, no matter how upset you might be, insulting rarely solves problems or makes friends and at the end of the day we're all here on a forum talking about a game we love (or at least like enough to go through the extra steps of coming here). I often fall back on advice shared by one of my art instructors at school in regards to critique that I feel also applies to good discourse. Find something you like about/agree with and then talk about what you feel isn't performing well/making sense. If we take the time to empathize and try to see the problem through someone else's eyes we might find that we have more in common than the differences. Art takes critique to thrive, we should never try to punish Bungie for iterating and trying new things just as we shouldn't stop casting a critical eye over the stuff we love and thinking to ourselves how it can be better.

 • Hey man, I’m happy for you. It takes a long time for people to find the simple contentment in a thing. You found it, that’s awesome. 👍
