But cores are easy to get lol
Don't infuse until max light.
Or alternatively, ppl can infuse every item and then cry on the forum.
I know which method I choose! 👍

Heres my question. What does having cores required for infusion positively do for the game?
-
It really is a non issue. By the time you're max light (or a light level you are happy with) you should have plenty of cores to then infuse said items. There is literally no activity right now that require you to be higher than 650....ppl are just obsessed with infusing before it's needed.

No i get what youre saying but it doesnt answer my question. What does it do to positively effect the game? Masterwork cores were never something that people had a million of and never used. So its not like people are happy they finally have a use. By hindering infusion its bungie choosing how you should play the game with no positive effect for the community i just dont get the point.

Ye, you could remove the requirement from infusion I suppose. Its just one of those things that's not really a big deal tbh. I think its probably people's OCD kicking in that they need to be wearing the highest possible power gear all the time, when in fact they absolutely don't. I just keep the highest piece of gear for any given slot and dismantle the rest (or keep if i like the roll)

I think people just enjoy seeing their power level go up even if slightly since its the only form of progression in destiny as of lately. I just dont see the gain of restricting it

I'm happy enough knowing what my possible highest is, whilst equipping the items I like, and saving the cores for when it matters. No biggie 👍

You get it
