Hey moron, you can use the same gear you have been using all of the endgame activities are still capped at what they were last season.
As for your low level toons bungie literally gave you a handout with the bounties to get them up to 640, do all the armour ones throw your high tier weapons on them BOOM power leveled and you didn’t have to waste any cores.

You call the bounties to boost to 640 “a handout”. I call it a clear admission that Bungie have colossally failed with their progression system to the point that players have turned away from the game and they are trying desperately to bandaid that problem. Guess what, infusion cores are just another part of that massive progression system failure. Which is why this is the 3rd time it has been raised as a problem by the community, to mirror the 3 times we have been asked to progress in level. See the correlation yet?
