This is a good change.
TL;DR: If you wanted to grind all the way there with a 50% win rate (because wins give you more points than losses, and win streaks exist but loss streaks don't), it will now take you half the time it used to.

Except you missed something. Fabled and beyond, if you won every other match, you would be losing points because you lose more points than you gain from a single win, putting more emphasis on win streaks. A change to make it more inviting would have been to reduce the amount you lose from losing and leave it at that.

I think the point of this is help you reach Fabled to get Luna's / Mountaintop / etc.. Not to help you past that. Which I think is reasonable.

Because it's side effect of doubling win points. And another reason why they never doubled glory points during events in example: Crimsons Days or Ironn Banner. Because system is too stupid to understand what value double and what value leave alone. Thank you very mutch bungie - 5 Gbs patch downloaded to: not be able to play Gambit (Prime and Original both) because of language problems (greetings from Poland), not able to Play Crucible (peoples in pack with weapons from Gambit Prime) and f**cked vendors like Ada-1 or Petra. Great Job Bungie Great Job.
