I’m full blown apathy for sure. It feels like their goal was to make a game people could “no-life” for hours every day forever and ever, because honestly a lot of people asked for that, BUT the needle has been swung to far at this point. Any entertainment product wears stale after a while and that’s totally okay, but I think you should be able to get the stuff you want during that “excitement” period, and if there is a gap between that time and the next content drop...THAT’S OKAY. I can’t even be fussed to go get The Last Word right now...probably cause it’s ANOTHER old exotic that is somehow the focus of ANOTHER expansion. Think about it...Warmind / Sleeper Sim, Forsaken / Ace of Spades, Armory / Last Word, and now Drifter / Thorn...can you imagine any other company selling back old content that they LITERALLY took away at the end of D1. Sorry I sound like a big hater right now, I’m generally a defender and passionate about this series, but man, greener pastures is right.
