Yeah you're just bad at finding groups, tbh.
You didn't put enough effort into finding like-minded (and experienced) people.
I ran Last Wish with one of my friends last week.
Never touched it before asides from watching videos to understand general strategy.
I found 9+ people over the course of us fully completing it that understood the two of us were new and that either:
A. The same applied to them
OR
B. Were willing to further explain sections as we went through them.
I didn't go longer than 3-5 minutes when it came to finding someone to fill my sixth shot when I'd get a random leave the fireteam.
You had bad luck. You just need to put more time into it, word your fireteam post well and be willing to kick people who can't grasp that you're new at this.

"Your just bad at finding groups...." FFS, what a stroker.

Not really. OP: “Make your own group and stop complaining.” This is where I kindly tell you to shove it. You don’t think I tried that? It’s the same thing no matter what. I try joining a group, they want experienced players --- If you read that and continued to be on his side, there's a problem. There is no trick to getting a group with what you're looking for. Post with specifying details about what you're looking for. I CONSTANTLY GET PEOPLE IN RAIDS THAT CAN'T EVEN BE BOTHERED TO READ MY 50 CHARACTER LIMIT TITLE WHEN I USE THE APP They come in expectant that I know this or that. I don't. I explicitly mentioned that this is a first time run. Can't be more to the point. It happens. People are stupid. OP should be the fireteam leader so in the case of getting a hard headed individual that expects perfection he can kick instead of dealing with the ensuing headache.

What a load of rubbish, that never works, unless you have hours to sit there and wait for one of the LFG methods to provide a group that's not looking for experienced Raiders. Now I have nothing against people who don't want to help, play it how you want. But to say he's wrong because he doesn't fit your world view, wow....

Also the worst thing that I realize people love to do when looking for groups is just message me with the following message: “inv”. I dunno if OP is doing that. 50% of messages I get is just “inv”. One situation I had was this one guy always messaging me when I put up a post. The first time was “inv”. After that I specified to include the class. Then he messaged “inv Hunter”. Then I added to include class and light. And during that someone else messaged me with “580 warlock” or something. Guess who I invited. The guy I have to pull every bit of information out of the nose or the guy that straight up told me his class and light from the get go?
