this could be easily fixed by bungie if they provided special (ideally exclusive) rewards for helping newcomers , like lots MMO games do
its only bungies fault not adding rewards for helping thus not giving any incentive to help for selfish people , not adding matchmaking ingame and thus giving arrogant people control over who can play the game
bungie is directly encouraging this behaviour and making the mode exclusive to 1% of players
