Maybe Bungie should learn that promoting death will make people not accept it and hate them. Maybe Bungie are greedy creatures who don't deserve what they did.

His death was one thing but over promoted it was stupid as hell for a quick buck, now one of the greatest characters is gone...

Apparently: Cayde was 3 things in forsaken: A cash grab A scapegoat (to make it more 'edgy' and 'dark' for the 13 year olds who 'nobody understands me') And a plot point. He wasn't laid to rest as a character. If they had any respect for him he would have gone way later in the campaign or not at all in my opinion.

And you got dumbasses who say shit like it was nesscery for the dark tone. Destiny 2 already started off dark...cabal genocide against humans...like many of the ingame characters probably thought they were going to lose. Lol basically it’s just another uncreative revenge story.

I couldn't agree with you more. 'Dark' and 'edgy' never lasts. And quite frankly I'm sick of it. I'm sick of that been the focal point of so many things. Its not needed. And we'll we lost good character who was used as plot rather than developing him further. Such a shame. Bungie can't do character stories all they can do is 'pew pew' look guns. I really wish Cayde as a character was in the hands of Bioware he would have so much more respect and actually you know mean something more than a quick buck. I didn't pay for my copy of Forsaken it was a gift so I was blessed enough not to pay for death. But I can tell you now. I'm done with Bungie and Destiny. They took away a friend who reminded me of someone. And they had the audacity to sell death.

Dark and edgy, in reality they’re just a bunch of phaggots. And yeah hopefully the forsaken team got fired other dumbshit could we trust them wit in the future? Spoileing more deaths? And my god it was in our faces to like every story mission said “avenge cayde 6”

Revenge never solves anything. And there was no vengeance. I wanted to sped time with Cayde. Hunt the Baron's together as a friend. But no Forsaken made too much money so Bungie learnt death sells. Like I said I'm done. I don't play anymore.

Yeah. I think it would have been much better. To fight along side him to develop him. If you know anything about the lore a 'Deep Stone Crypt' DLC with Cayde front and centre would have been amazing. It would have gone so far into his lore and shown a darker side of Cayde. He hated the place and what they did to him and how they used him. A place that took everything away from him. Think of the story telling possibilities. But no. 'Death Sells now' and we'll never see him again. I don't play anymore and I refuse to give Bungie anymore money than they already have. I'm done.
