If there is no police report nor if he wasn't sent to a psych ward, then it didn't happen. Thinking about killing yourself but chickening out is not the same as actually overdosing or hanging yourself but being rescued/resuscitated. Saying that you tried to kill yourself but not actually going through with it is a meme for attention.

I mean I can’t disagree with the police report thing but I believe him. The way he worded it was that he was unsuccessful, and didn’t tell anyone. (Something I’ve experienced. When you feel that way you doubt anyone would understand so you bottle it in) and he said he’s now getting help.
